  • Looks like a good deal to me.

This Braun Series 7 Pulsonic 720-4 looks similar (perhaps identical) for $299 but down to $199 if get hassle-loaded $100 cash back valid to end Jan 2013.

    • plus local warranty and 60 day braun money back guarantee

  • or Kogan has then for $229 http://www.kogan.com/au/buy/braun-720s-electric-shaver/ plus $100 cashback which makes it effectively cheaper @ $129 plus local warranty and 60 day money back guarantee

    • I doubt kogan is valid for cash back.

      • I doubt it too, considering that Kogan ships it from HK ("This Product is offered and supplied by Kogan HK Limited").

But interestingly, the terms & conditions of the cashback promotion only says that one must "purchase a participating product during the purchase period from any retailer", without explicitly saying that retailer must be in Australia and without explicitly specifying products with Australian product codes.

Has anyone successfully managed to claim the cashback on a Braun shaver from Kogan? And if Kogan purchases are eligible, wouldn't you also be able to claim the cashback for this Amazon purchase (making the shaver effectively $40)?

        • cashback is linked to Australia

It would be accepted if purchaced from any Australian retailer and would be rejected if bought from an overseas retailer during the verification process

        • Would Kogan HK Limited be considered an Australian retailer, though? You reckoned above that you'd be able to get the $100 cashback if buying from Kogan — is this from experience or just speculation?

        • +1

It would be accepted if purchaced from any Australian retailer

          NO it also says

          participating store

Now there is NO list that I can find, other than a where to buy. And Kogan is NOT listed. (

But there is a note above,

Dealer addresses and online shops are currently not available for all countries

Too confusing and too risky and is it really worth fighting…

  • +1

Made in Germany by the looks.

Lot of other Braun stuff originates under the oppressive regime of the Chinese Communist Party.

  • Is there any issue with the power adapter buying from Amazon? Would I need to get a converter for it to work in Aus?

    • You will just need a socket converter. The power adaptor is multivoltage

      • Thanks

  • I bought this shaver a few weeks ago from Amazon.
    I don't like it.
Doesn't shave as close as my $50 Remington.
