Have had this roaster for about 8/9 years and its great. Doesn't get ridiculous amounts of use but is in great nick still.

Not sure your point? It's got a lot of thermal mass and aluminium is an excellent conductor. The coating seems pretty robust too.

@cooni: Aluminium has double the thermal mass of iron.
So a 1kg aluminium dish has the heat capacity of a 2kg cast iron one. But so does only 200 ml of water.

They cancelled my order at $103.60 saying payment verification issues (normal canned we had the wrong price stuff).
Did this to me too but only after I already successfully submitted two orders prior. I'm wondering if multiple orders in quick succession get flagged as suspicious. Did you manage to submit orders prior to your cancelled one?
No recent orders, the previous one was a yesterday.

I don't think anyone has ever paid rrp on any pots pans and knives from most brands sold in household stores. Still for these prices I feel they're good. We have a scanpan pan thats been holding up well for a few years while various Tefals including French made have been and gone
I myself have some scanpan stainless that have lasted 8 years. No problem with them, just pointing out the silly RRPs

I think cuisinart multiclad pro is a good cost benefit ratio for fully clad cookware
Every garage and estate sale I've ever been to has a tonne of these kinds of things for sale. All my friends have things like this cluttering up their kitchen cabinets.
These are great. Use a large one for almost all stove top frying as well as oven roasts.
