Accor Plus Membership Renewal Offer

So, my half price accor plus membership is expiring and I have opted not to renew.

Today, I received this renewal offer…

Renew your membership before it expires to unlock an exclusive 10 additional Status nights** on top of your existing 20 Status nights. That’s 30 Status nights in total—helping you elevate to the next ALL – Accor Live Limitless status tier or extend your current status even longer.

Thoughts on:

  1. Whether it's worth the $369 fee
  2. Does this mean I get to "gold" with the additional status nights? (I haven't really stayed with them all that much) and my actual status points and nights are "0"

    Unless you’re planning to make the most of the free night, dining discounts, and hotel perks, renewing for $369 probably isn’t worth it. The extra 10 Status Nights would push you to Gold, which comes with things like room upgrades and late check-out, but if you’re not staying at Accor hotels much, it’s not really a game-changer. You could always wait for a better deal later when it actually fits your travel plans.

    It does goes half-price at least once a year.

    Surprised yours is $369. Mine was from that last half price deal but I bought through NZ, so it's 319 nzd (around $290)

    If Stay Plus can be redeemed for somewhere like Sofitel Sydney then close to worth it?

        I stayed sofitel Sydney Saturday 25th this year, used my free night, and then a $150 corner room upgrade, bath tub looked out over darling harbour, watched the fireworks, checked out on Australia day.

        Booked it 11 months in advance

    I'm in the same boat as you. Trying to think if it's worthwhile. I'm already on the gold and another 30 days secures my gold for the following year and puts me halfway to platinum. But will i really use all the benefits? I also did manage to get my free night stay at sofitel darling harbour and that was very nice.

    How are you getting $359? Mine is $418 and I used the half price deal last year.

    Stayed at Sofitel Wentworth (probably should have gone Darling Harbour but it was closer to where we needed to be) for free

      I renewed last week but haven’t got the status points yet. I’ll give it a couple days more before contacting them.

        Same, renewed the other day and only thing showing is the stay plus night, but even the membership expiry hasn't changed ugh

          My expiry is still showing as today, so I’m thinking the system will update tomorrow with the new date plus the status points

          Did you end up getting your 30 status points?
          I only got 20 and having trouble getting the additional 10 that was offered.

                @Pecan: They denied me receiving the 10 nights because they claim I renewed with the family and friends discount. Didn't think NZ$319 was discounted, it was just what was offered on the renewal screen!

                So stupid

                  @spackbace: Sorry to hear..
                  Did your renewal offer specifically mention the bonus 10 nights? I got the email and screenshotted it as part of my support ticket. They applied the bonus 10 nights without fuss.

                  So wondering if maybe they turned you down because you weren’t offered it in the first place? But if you were, I’d suggest trying what I did

                    I went Karen on them so they'll give me gold next year even if I don't hit the 30 status nights as a once off, only if I pay full price next year

    same boat here, really need some advices:
    - currently on Gold, what if i don't renew, do i lose the gold status?
    - can we renew in other countries if I can find any place cheaper (apparently I vpned all the countries and not cheap atm @.@)

    I woudl expect another half price offer soon. So if you not need it right now let it lapse and sign up again in future

    I waited for mine to expire after 28-Feb-2025, and on 1-Mar-2025, they automatically extended my gold memership for free until 31-Dec-2025. I don't know if it is because I had pre booked a few hotels on my accor account for the rest of the year though.

        I understand it a bit better now.
        1) I was a "Accor Plus Explorer Membership" from 21-Feb-2024 to 21-Feb-2025 (some reason it was extended to 28-Feb-2025)
        2) After expiry, they dowgrade my membership to "ALL – Accor Live Limitless member" with new expiry set at 31-Dec-2025

        I didn't renew, so I don't have Accor Plus at the moment. Just a Accor Live Gold Member until 31-Dec-2025.

          Okay, maybe rejoin towards Nov/Dec, bonus status nights can give u Gold/platinum for one more whole year then 😃

    Gold is the new silver imo.
    I'm platinum now and love the perks.

    Which is why they created diamond which never used to exist
