For all those who have over done the food and drink this year, I saw this at Rebel Sport Chatswood today. I am uncertain if its nation wide, but they had at least 6 in stock when I was there and this is the model with the additional heart rate monitor.

The cheapest on static ice is $329 and its even cheaper than Amazon ($259 + shipping), so I think its a good deal. I have this model myself and its actually not too large on your wrist. If you get lost on a hike, its good enough to get you home even though you can't download street maps on to it.

I also recommend for all those in Sydney, to come along to the Sydney Summer Series http://www.sydneysummerseries.com.au/ to help loose those extra kgs and see a part of Sydney you probably didn't know existed.

    Good buy with the HRM as well. I have the 405 and apart from the HRM straps are uncomfortable its a good quality unit as is this

    They have a premium hrm with a softer strap, so the feedback must of been they don't like the old straps.

    I wanted the 610 before Christmas, they had a gps (car) promo but they wouldn't price match and give me the bonus gps,

    I decided to buy just the hrm strap as I have the forerunner 305,

    Back on track, this is a good price.

    I've been using this model for a few years now. It's great with the optional quick release kit so you can snap it on to your bike after the swim leg then back onto your wrist for the run (if you're into triathlon). One word of caution, the glass screen will break easily if dropped as it is flush with the top of the unit. Mine broke after a small drop onto a wooden floor but they did replace it in warranty so couldn't complain too much. I think I paid about $350 but that was approx. 3 years ago.
