Same price at JB I would spend my money there and use the $10 perks to bring it down to $24

I feel like UMK3 on Sega Saturn was the peak of MK - music, gameplay, graphics, vibe and fun.

How does this compare? MkX Wasn’t exactly vibing with me. Is this Worth taking a chance on?

    • honestly UMK3 on the DS was really awesome too.
I also run trilogy and this on my 3DS for my lunch breaks.

      • Wow that’s amazing!
I didn’t realise it was released on DS.

Where was I at the time lol! Thanks for the ‘TIL’

From quick googling it appears to be arcade perfect with online play as well!

Same, it's very underrated. Plus it comes with puzzle kombat from deception.

Also checkout Midway Arcade Treasures: Extended Play, comes with MK/MK2 and MK3, no idea why this wasn't release as the MK arcade collection.

Play 11 it's almost the same game. It's all about the guest characters

  • Star Wars outlaws for $44 also seems like a decent deal?

    • its $44 because it's a trashbin flop. i'd second guess it at $4.

coincidentally, star wars battle front II is $5-10 recently. it's primarily multiplayer 10-20ppl teams & 4 player co-op vs AI, but it has a pretty great single player campaign and it more than holds up and people still play it.

the jedi survivor/fallen order combo go on sale cheap too, proper sp games and much more worth your time than outlaws.

sorry to be a bubble burster on ps deals today, but this is bad value… over xmas the base edition was like $20… the kaos reigns edition, which includes the season 1 fighter pass & the kaos reigns DLC was $40… discounted from $130…

….because the games a huge flop & theres next to nobody playing it so they were basically giving it away, and will continue to.

i bought it at that price, cause aside from liking a fighting game, i dont mind ones with elaborate single player stories. this one was nowhere near as good as MK11's story mode, but for $40 it does look pretty impressive and it was entertaining enough & lasted a few decent sessions…

the kameo system was actually not as bad as i imagined, but online is pretty disappointing & dead which is a shame cause the netcode seems solid. just all the other choices around how you play seem to be designed by someone whos never played an online fighting game before. play it for 5mins and you'll understand, the small AU player base never helps with that as well, so just don't have high hopes on the online play before buying…
