Has Anyone Recently Purchased LG 27GX790A-B Monitor from Official LG Online Store?

I purchased this monitor from their store on February 6th, received it this Friday, and have been using it for the past two days.

Since I placed my order through Cashrewards, I checked their site to see if my cashback had been tracked. It wasn’t, so I visited LG’s website to get my order number for a claim. (Thankfully, the Click History was available.)

While doing this, I discovered that a 20% discount promotion is available for this monitor something that wasn’t offered when I made my purchase if I am not mistaken. The only discount I received was the "LG Members Welcome $50" voucher.

The earliest OzBargain post mentioning this 20% discount was from February 10th, so I was wondering when exactly did this promotion start?

  If yes, was it an approved coupon with cashrewards?

    Yes, I used it for my purchase, but I honestly have no idea whether it was approved with Cashrewards or not :/

    My main concern here is when did the 20% discount promotion for this monitor start.

    Just to clarify, this 20% promotion is offered directly by LG with the coupon code "LGGRADEUPGEARUP20", not through Cashrewards, in case the original post was misleading.

      The $50 coupon is mentioned on the cash rewards site but appears to be a $50 off your next purchase voucher.

      You may not get your Cashback if your coupon was different to this one.

      The "LGGRADEUPGEARUP20" code was mentioned here on the 10th.

        Yeah, that’s what I thought, so I contacted LG to ask if I could get a partial refund since they had already been selling the monitor for pre-order for a few days then suddenly, this promo code "Pre-order 20% DC on 27GX790A-B" appeared.

        Only those of us who actually "pre-ordered" got fooled.
