Good prices for the 1TB and 512GB M.2 NVMe TLC SSDs from Orico for those after an OS drive or for use as a portable SSD in an enclosure.

The 1TB variant offers a sequential read speed up to 3600MB/s and a sequential write speed up to 3000MB/s with 400TBW endurance. While the 512GB variant offers sequential read speed up to 3500MB/s, sequential write speed up to 2800MB/s and 200TBW endurance.

On a more technical side they're using TLC flash with reviews mentioning Micron 232l TLC flash in the 1TB SSD with a Maxio MAP1202 controller and pSLC cache, while the 512GB SSD seems to be using sk Hynix TLC flash with a Silicon Motion SM2263 controller. If the 512GB is using the EN controller variant, then it has DRAM cache + pSLC cache, otherwise it's the DRAMless XT variant.

  • Redeem both the 15% off and 10% off discounts under the price

Since this is a PCIe 3.0 SSD it's not PS5 compatible.

      Thanks updated.

  • How reputable is the brand Orico?.. I know when it comes to storage it sux to lose it all or have your OS go ^PoF~

So far their SSDs seem to be fine and they're not using the dodgy YMTC 128l flash that's known to be faulty. As with all storage… backups.

  • Thanks Clear. Got the 1Tb version.

Any chance for a N100 mini pc deal to pair it up with?

  • 1tb only comes down to $80.99 for me even though it says I've redeemed both promos.

    • Only seeing the 10% off promo

    • 1) tick the check box next to 'Coupon' for 15%
      2) Click 'Redeem' below the above.
      3) Final price only appears on the payment method screen.

  • Even though I ticked the 15% box, I'm only seeing 10% off at checkout. Am I doing something wrong?

      • Was not working last night, but worked now.

  • Seemed to work ok for me.

    • Were you charged 9.99 for shipping?

  • Nope, but i do have prime.

  • Bought the 1TB and an Orico external enclosure for under $100 - might use it as a Windows To Go drive.

    Thanks OP.

  • @Clear, where'd you find the controller and flash specs?

    • Reviews.

      • Looks like I have a MAP1202 in my 512gb. I used HWinfo to check, but maybe there is a better tool…

Just got my AOOSTAR Nas, would the 512GB be good for Boot drive and 2x1TB for cache drives?

    • If I remember correctly, their Intel based NAS has only 1 nvme slot, the Ryzen based NAS has 2 nvme slots.

It sounds overkill, but you do you.

512GB also sold out, can't add to cart anymore.

  • Good deal for an enclosure?
