People wanting to sell their "$249" buds from the s25 accessories deal would be feeling a bit bummed right now..

    • Can hit up Samsung for price match tho

Does this work for people who used the $100 or $200 accessories voucher though?

      • Is it worth all the hassles?
How can you trust their products when their systems are that s**t?

    • True - I somehow ended up getting the S25 Ultra & a Samsung Galaxy Ring for around $1200 with all the pre-order offers etc with Samsung.

Hoping to sell the S25 Ultra for close to what I paid overall and then basically get a 'free' Galaxy Ring. One thing I wouldn't do is then try sell it for close to retail with the description 'RRP $699.' LOL

      • Did you trade something in and what offers

        • For sure there's trade in value in that. Lowest you could get the 512gb ultra was around $1300 ($10 trade in phone to trigger the bonus)

        • I only used an iPhone 8 with $10 value and got trade in 'bonus value' on top of that. I also happened to have some targeted 'spend $X get $Y back' offers with AMEX, then codes that weren't meant to work on the EPP website for some reason worked after trying.

I look at it now and with all the different discounts and trade in bonuses/$100 for $20 voucher/ecosystem vouchers etc and I really can't figure out how I landed at $1284 (apologies I said around $1200 before).

      • That sounds like a very good deal - for everybody

      • You're selling your ultra for $1200? I'll take it

        • Sorry ending up selling for $1400. LOL

      $249 …I think that's for the PRO!

    • I got lucky and sold mine for $180 cash on the weekend. Feel like I robbed the guy now!

  • OMG, the rating on Amazon is so poor…

Yea will have to admit the fit is terrible. It's pretty much an old apple style airpod - slides out really easily. Imo Samsung needs to stick to the buds, feel and fit much better

Probably because it doesn't have a silicone tip. Imagine overhead headphones without any padding. Earbuds with out silicone tips? Its the same thing. Unless its a custom molded to fit your ear, its gonna be loose and dangle about. The tips provides some padding and cushioning to accommodate the different shaped/sizeds ears.

But not having a silicone tip is the whole point. For some of us it's the exact opposite of what you said. The soft tipped ones are always losing their seal and then the sound gets all tinny and bad and then a few minutes later they fall out of my ears completely. But hard tipped ones stay put and always sound good.

That's the reason I'm buying these instead of the Pros. I could afford the Pro, but any earbud with soft tips, A) is so uncomfortable, blocking my ears off and squeezing against the sides, I hate it and B) doesn't stay in my ears so are competely 100% useless as I can't hear any audio at all if the earbud is on the floor.

I've wasted hundreds of dollars on different earbuds from different companies, tried every size of silicon tip, most come with 3 sizes but some come with 5, I've tried third party replacement tips, I've tried third party tips made from different materials, I've tried designing and 3d printing my own replacements. Nothing works.

I simply cannot use soft tipped earbuds, and if I could wouldn't want to because they're so uncomfortable anyway. They're unusable.

        • Yeap same as me, I prefer the hard tipped ones (there's a joke in there somewhere) as it doesn't come off easily.

Anyone comment on their experience using these?

I've got the Galaxy Buds 2. I've always liked this style more because they fit in ear better. I'm a bit wary with the Airpor-esque earphones because they look like they'll fall out if I jog slightly.

    • or get the buds 3 Pro version for the ear tips which ensures a snug fit. Does cost double the price though.

Personally I have the Sennheiser Momentum TW4 and it is on sale at officeworks for 299 right now though limited stock or Amazon at 319.

    • I've got the galaxy buds 2 and 2 pro and bought the 3 yesterday. The 2/2pro have a much better seal in the ear (because of the silicone tips), which means the noise cancelling works much better. The 3 don't have the silicone tip (3 pros do) which means they just sit in the ear so you hear more outside noise. I would say they wouldn't fall out easily but don't have the best fit.

  • Samsung Bid3 or JBL Live Pro2, currently on sale for $98 at Harvey Norman. JBL has better reviews.

  • Whoop, been looking for these to get cheap. Even have a search alert which hasn't gone off yet. Can't use Pros, not because of price, but buds with rubber tips will never stay in my ears no matter what I do. In fact I wish you could get buds with Pro features but solid tips but you can't, have to use the cheap ones. So it's standard buds for me. Thanks OP.

P.S. More electronics should come in silver.

  • I bought this last week and will return soon. This thing keeps falling out of my ears. And the ANC makes me feel uncomfortable.

    • You should be able to disable ANC in the Galaxy Wearable app

  • Correct me if I'm wrong but you can't have these connect to two devices - eg. watching Youtube/Listening to spotify via computer and then get a phone call via mobile phone?

  • How do these compare to the Sony wf1000 and similar?

  • Dumb questions:

Will these work with iPhone 12?

If yes, why should I spend more money on the Apple Airpods?

    Thanks in advance. 🙏

    • They'll work like any other Bluetooth earphones, but functions will be very limited. I don't think it would be worth it. Just stick with Airpods.

Same applies for Android users wanting to use Airpods.

  • Big difference in price I know, but my Soundpeats TrueAir 2 battery doesn't last as long. Does anyone have both or had experience? Worth the 2/3x the cost?

  • Showing $167.19 for me

    • it's -44% now

      • Out of Stock from Amazon AU, so defaults to the next seller (Skyradar).

  • do these have any tracking built in? Or is that a top-of-the-line Apple feature?

    • Heart rate tracking? GPS tracking? Step tracking? Couldn't you be a little more specific FFS
