Shout out to SR9 for this deal.
Cheapest I've ever seen this, even cheaper than Samsung Edu EPP.
Free delivery with OnePass is not available for delivery addresses in areas classified by Officeworks as rural.

Hence I didn't write pro in the title lol
Boom Tish!
Should've said "no shit, Sherlock"
Reading reviews about fit is making me think twice
I recently got these with my s25, and they are TERRIBLE. I hate the airpods style anyway, but these are somehow worse, they just will not stay in
So can we get OW to price beat that..?
Also are these any good comparability wise with iPhone? I have Samsung personal but apple work phone. Tia.
$125.10 with XFEB2025 code
Legend, thanks for the tip.
I'm going to assume that Officeworks is price matching/beating another competitor (which is most likely grey import).

Silver same price with code CLEARANCE10
Looks like a mod added in + Delivery, but I tested a few addresses around metro and got free delivery if I select standard shipping + all day
I am not a moderator.
The original version of the title suggested delivery was free for all delivery addresses across Australia, but this is incorrect. Officeworks actually only offers free delivery for this product in the following cases (and this is reflected in the updated title):
The delivery address is in a "metro" area, as purchasing this would be over the $65 threshold required to get free delivery to metro areas (and this is what you found when you tested using a few metro addresses). This is the reason the title says $0 to Metro.
The delivery address is in a "regional" area and the customer is a OnePass subscriber. This is the reason the title says $0 … OnePass.
A customer will need to pay for delivery for this item if:
The delivery address is in a "regional" area and the customer is not a OnePass subscriber. In this case, delivery costs $9.95.
The delivery address is in a "rural" area. In this case, delivery will cost $25.95, even if the customer is a OnePass subscriber. (This is the reason I included the last sentence in the deal description.)
Thanks wookie! Great explanation as always!
Look's like samsung's spin on ANC airpods 4
Why do none have a tip?!! So bad for fitment
Oh boy going down this rabbit hole again
Fit is incredibly subjective and depends on person to person - so many people despise AirPod Pros because they can't get them to sit in properly, and thus much prefer the 'open ear' design of the regular AirPods
Same story with these vs the Buds 3 Pro
I for one like to have a pair of each; open-ear design like this if I want to be aware of my surroundings, and in-ear design if I want ANC and noise cancellation. Both fit in my ears fine.
Good to have options for personal preferences
I've tried 10+ different tips from different earbuds and aftermarket earbuds and they all irritate my ears or just fall out
Open ear buds like these are so much better for me and they don't fill up with wax after a few uses
Haven't tried these but pretty happy with Huawei ones, with Oppo Enco Air 3 and SoundPeats Air 4 not far behind.
looks and feels like cheap plastic…
the other one was $99
They had something going with buds 2, buds 2 pro, and buds fe. Why did they start making this crap, looks like it would slip out/off your ear very quickly
They probably realised they make more money copying Apple than doing their own thing. The previous Buds had fitment issues of their own so they weren’t perfect either.
When Apple removed the headphone jack, Samsung was mocking them that not only did their phones have a headphone jack but they came bundled with wired earphones.
Then Samsung removed their headphone jack & bundled wired buds to sell their own Galaxy Buds, and now we’ve come full circle when Samsung just gave up when designing the Galaxy Buds3 and they now look like knock off AirPods that say “the Bluetooth device is connected successfully”.
Courage
I need to sell mine
Does samsung education portal match this price?
coz i have a Samsung voucher I want to use for it.
to answer it i called them and basically they do not price match directly but
you pay the full price and buy it first (even you know and provide the link) and then
then you have to contact them saying you found a lower price among their retailer (officeworks is one of them)
then they will refund your money (difference)
how illogical is that?
i told them and they told me even though it has no logic that is how they do it?
and may be takes weeks to actually refund…
How good would these be for team meetings? I bought some nice JBL Tour 3 and its a nice set but the mic isn't the best. Wouldn't mind a spare set
I loved the galaxy buds 1 & 2 design - a little bead form factor that disappears and doesn't stick out of the ear. Means you can lie down on a pillow with them or pull a shirt on. Super discreet. This design I got no idea what they're doing with it. It looks like a cheap bluetooth knockoff set you'd buy on catch for like $19.
100%. I recently got these with my s25 and they are TERRIBLE. I'm still using my original Buds+ and love them, except the battery is on it's way out
Got them with the phone together from the s25 preorder deal, can we get Samsung to refund the difference?
I also got these with the S25 deals. Really wanted to like them as I prefer the open ear design but couldn't get them to sit in my ear. Ended up selling on marketplace.
How much did you get for them?
Honesty every earphone at those point is trying to copy airpods. There's a reason that division alone within Apple generates more revenue than Spotify, Nintendo and eBay. Just buy the air pods don't waste your time with cheap knock offs. Samsung gave up on trying to innovate and threw in the towel.
Did you type this on your folding Apple phone?
Samsung, actually.
Why TF would I buy AirPods if I'm using an Android device and half of their functionality are only available to Apple users?
Hell, even including that, they're much better than Samsungs earphones which are clearly an inferior copy and paste job. Samsung lost alot of their credibility when they made fun of Apple for removing the headphone jack and followed suit, screwing over their own fans, followed by removing the SD card. I still like Samsung despite feeling betrayed by them as they're the flagship Android mobile phone manufacturer and they set the standard for what a consistently good Android phone should be, but you gotta call a spade a spade. These earphones are cheap Airpod knock offs. To their credit they tried to create unique earbuds, but they failed and are now playing it safe hoping they'll win over anyone who is considering the Airpods but won't do it because no Smasnug logo, derp.
Have you used these Buds personally? Inferior in what way? I use AirPod 2nd Gens, Pro 2s and Bud2 Pros regularly so I'm interested in your reasoning as to why any Samsung earbuds are automatically 'cheap knockoffs'
@CrispyChrispy: I've used the airpod pros 2, powerbeats and airpod 2nd gen. My reasoning comes from watching reviews, reading about them and being presented with the option of choosing, I couldn't seriously consider the buds. Audio quality at this point is respectable for both products. As to why they're inferior? That comes from design. The triangular stem looks like they didn't consider the shape of the human fingers, the design for the buds 3 is evidently a copy and paste from the Airpods 3 & 4, and the way the buds sit in the case was clearly an afterthought. Open your airpods, they're placed in a way so that you can pick them up and directly insert them into your ears. Standing on the bus, walking, running? No problem, very straight forward. With the buds 3? Samsung shafted user experience and said you'll pick them up, fumble them in your fingers face them the right direction and then use them. Same with putting them back in the case. It's these little details that shows Samsung noticed what was working for Apple, and instead of improving upon it, they just copied. Why would you settle for a copy if you can have the original? And to top it all off, Samsung took another note out of Apples handbook and made it so that some features are only available with a Samsung device.
https://www.catch.com.au/product/samsung-galaxy-buds3-sm-r53…
$128.19 on catch
https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/heybattery-samsung-galaxy-buds-…
$123.73 on kogan
perhaps can get a further 5% price matching at officeworks
My only concern would be trying to get local warranty with marketplace sellers such as catch and kogan.
