Personally recommend used corporate machines to friends since:
    1. The build quality of business laptops is generally better than consumer ones based on experience (e.g. have seen multiple broken hinges on consumer machines with flimsier frames, business products more sturdy)
    2. For basic things like YT and all that, a used corporate laptop is quite good.
    3. Anything used is way cheaper than new, you save a few hundred.

Australian Computer Traders is a good source from other people purchases I've seen.

Of course, if money is no consideration or there's a preference for new, then probably dropping $1200 on something will give you a good performer that's sturdy and with great battery.

    • Hi thanks for this

      I’m steering towards this.

However when I look online it’s around $750-800 for a grade a refurbished model.

I see Lenovo website has like 40% off some models and it’s like $1250 after discount and can stack a further 5% off also. And this is for a brand new and specs look decent?

Wouldn’t it be better value buying one of these

  • Get an ex business machine & replace its battery/upgrade its ram.

Best performance/$ you can get right now.

    Cheap new laptops are e-waste.

  • Not a bad choice for $350
