Bought a Bunch of Coles Mastercard Gift Cards to Pay City of Melbourne Rates

G'day all, I just bought 8 online $250 gift cards from giftcards.com.au to earn points and credit card churn on my City of Melbourne rates bill.

After using one $250 gift card, I tried to use the second one, it says there is already a payment pending.

Does anyone have any solutions/ know how long payment takes to process?

    You can probably BPAY using them over the phone if you try that instead… Else why the rush, just do one every couple of days until they're done.

    I had that problem previously. It's their way to prevent duplicate payments. You have to wait a few hours to a day.

    My council also only process one card per 24 hours- just do one a day and you should be fine.

      Some people are not fine when limit applies to them.
