Ive had one of these for 3 years, great unit.
Does this one work on a boat?
It's out of stock in most of Vic
Thanks OP, just picked up the second last one in my local store
They sell isolator switches also, can install yourself
It seems to be priced at $1899 in SA.
Fairly certain I saw a bunch as well as the 2.5kw ones in Windsor Gardens this morning
I had the wifi model version of this installed a year ago, it's a solid unit and cools a large area of my house really well.
My only criticism of this unit would be the actual remote it comes with, which is only a mild annoyance. I have old Mitsubishi heavy units as well as this new one. The old remotes are perfect. In the new ones such as this, they stupidly have removed the 'mode' button from the quick access area, replacing it with a second fan speed button. Now you need to open the remote hinge up to access the mode button. So dumb. Apparently having 2 buttons for fan speed, and giving quick access to turn on 'eco' mode is more important that letting you swap from AC to fan. I removed the hinge casing off altogether. Long live the mode access.
Also FYI, for the wifi model of this unit, the wifi app that Mitsubishi include instructions to use (Emerald) is unusable. The only function I could actually get it to fulfill was to turn on and off the unit. Using the app to do anything else does not correctly work.
I mention this, to encourage people to not feel like they're missing out getting this non-wifi version. It's the better value product.
