Won't track or track at lower value. Don't waste time with Shopback.

Can attest there's no transparency. Everytime a cashback should be more than $20-30, they reject it and if you dispute they give you a $5 cashback as a "token of goodwill".

These days their customer service won't even reply to emails.

      • My one, Temu $196 CB rejected with no reason. Just good luck next time.

100% agree. This has happened with few transactions of mine with SB. For some reason it's more of an issue with high value transactions.

      • Don't even bother with SB, they have dropped the ball big time.

  • Can any one confirm the 7% bonus is tracked?
The $5 promotion couple of days ago didn’t track

sometimes it takes a while for the bonus Westpac things to track. Yes, my 3% tracked straight away, am waiting for the 7% bonus amount as well….hopefully it will show up today. I hate these ones where you think you are going to get it then they say all redemptions done….even though we have no idea how many redemptions they are allowing….that is very annoying and catches many out. So far I haven't been stung, but in saying that, who knows if today is the day? I hope not as I bought a $500 one just before 10am

Need to ban Shopback from Ozbargain. They will not give you cashback if the amount is high. No customer services at all. Nobody cares for complain. Ozbargain is our people place and no scam company should be allowed to operates here.

    • Agreed. Shopback makes up its own category that other cashback websites don't.

For example Amazon AU - Shopback has Amazon devices listed as 6.5% and then further down it has Kindle as 0%

Both CashRewards and TopCashBack include kindle as part of Amazon devices.

They make it difficult every single step of the way.

    • 100% agree. While they've always had problems, you used to be able to contact support or the OzB rep and be able to trust that you'd get a resolution.

Ever since the layoffs last year, support has all but disappeared, and there have been countless deals where OzBargainers have been left waiting months with no response from Shopback.

I agree with the sentiment here, it appears my account has been disabled after querying the mis tracking of the hydrolyte deal. I would be very wary of using this service.

If anyone has Australian Unity for their insurance. Their rewards website currently have 9% discount for the Cafe choice gift card, which is the same card. Not a cash back.

  • Very dodgy website, such a risk to engage with and absolutely no recourse if they reject your cashback claim. What are you going to do? Dispute the transaction?

  • Can confirm as with everyone else it seems pretty dodgy and takes forever for the cashback to come through with requirements like minimum amount before withdrawal
