Heard great things about these. Saw these going for an excellent price and was advised by the mods to create a new deal.

If you have wide feet - recommend going half a size up (apparently they are a bit tight in the toebox). The start off a bit stiff and require a bit of breaking in.

Only the Black/Black colourway is available, but in all sizes.

These shoes are very specifically meant for weightlifting and powerlifting (squats, snatches, powercleans etc).

They are atrocious to walk around in, so you can't walk to the gym in them. If you're looking for an all-round training shoe, you're better off with Metcons and NanoXs.

This is a great deal. A bought a pair on sale a few year back, after using them almost twice a week, they're still in great condition (shape and velcro still sticks). I got these in my actual shoe size and they're definitely on the snug side.

You probably want them snug too, since you're probably only wearing them for an hour at a time and you want as much stability as possible.

I'll do squats, oly lifts and leg presses in these and then swap over to runners or sneakers for things like hamstring curls etc.

I personally wouldn't do the "half size up" thing. Let this shoe be good at what it's good at.

      • I reckon it depends on whether you have a hobbit like feetses (apparently). The toe-box runs narrow on these, hence I sized up as my feet are "ch*de-like".

Originally was looking at the Tyr L1 lifters, but they're so much more dearer,

Bought these a few years ago in the SE ‘Rawdacious’ colourway. They’re fantastic lifting shoes and have lasted really, really well with fairly heavy wear.

I would buy another pair, but I just don’t need them because mine are lasting so well.

They are quite tight, by design I have assumed, but just something to be aware of for prospective buyers.

  • I wish there were wild feet/toe training shoes available, I'm open to suggestions tho :)

    • That's interesting. I'm just not informed enough about this to make a proper recommendation.

I've heard a lot about the TYR Zerodrop DZ-1 and the Vivobarefoot, if that's what you're looking for? Can't see any on sales though.
