Not an ATL, and a lightning deal (40% claimed at time of posting), but still probably worth it at this price! I've been a WiiM Pro user for a long time now, and I rate these really highly. These apparently have the same audio guts as the Pro (but with a worse processor and less inputs/outputs), and I think the Pro sounds great, so I'm sure this'll sound great too.

    The Mini only does digital out via SPDIF - the USB is purely for charging, unfortunately.

    I made this exact same switch about two years ago, and I would say yes!

    I had a lot of issues with my AirPort Express where I'd need to occasionally reboot it to get AirPlay working. This has AirPlay 2, so you've got the same multi-room setup if you're already using that, but it also has Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, its own app for browsing music, et cetera. Overall, I think the experience of using this device is a lot nicer, and I'd rate it over an AirPort Express.

    EDIT: From memory, it also sounds a little better? Definitely not any worse.

    Be aware that if you use Apple Music, an Airplay 2 receiver will be worse than the 2nd gen Airport Express (if running on the older firmware).
