Click "about the electricity rates" then "learn more about rates and charges" then "Energy fact sheets, including rates and tariffs" and the one that applies.
They definitely buried it deep.
Not bad to get 10c export if you have a huge solar setup, considering here in Victoria it's down to 3.3c/kwh for most providers. That said, their rates are awful compared to what I pay on OVO, 10c more per kw/h for offpeak, 13c more for peak, 40c a day more connection. So their 12am to 6am "saving" accounts to nothing.
The free charging credits are pretty meaningless too, because on all their other plans they offer a $100 signup to electricity which you don't get with the EV plan (you still get the $100 on gas). Basically replacing one thing with another.
Yup, exactly my thoughts. I'm with OVO as well.
Also their 12-6am is 6c deducted from the full price. It’s not 6c per kWh during this time.
I have found Momentum Energy rates to be really good for us. Our rates noted below (VIC, South Eastern Suburbs):
Consumption = $0.2189
Feed in Tariff = $0.06
Daily supply = $1.0296Review recent deals & referral system setup by moderators here:
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/deals/momentumenergy.com.auI was on this plan and switching back to my previous provider. The credit is for 1st month only and the rate is almost double of my previous provider.
What a fraud. Do not even publish thier energy rates. Only thing on the website is the estimated monthly price and saving as compared to refernece value.
I am an Electraical Engineer working for a power company and could not find the publish rates. Wondering how some else can find it out.
