Following. My GP just told me to wok more to lose weight.
I think it was just his accent
That makes accents, cheers.
Saw one in Aldi yesterday, Carbon Steel black, about $25. Warns to only use low heat when on induction. No idea of the quality.
Cheers ,our will definitely be getting a lot of use!
What does high heat do btw?
Also random q what it mean whrn a pot shakes while on induction
I like the chef inox ones on amazon.
carbon steel one from the asian grocer for ~$20
Cheapest way is probably to get an Asian boyfriend/girlfriend who may already have a wok.
If you can afford then go for the best:
https://cookdinehost.com/products/hot-wok-offer?srsltid=AfmB…300 for a wok lol scam
Demonstrates how little you know about quality cookware
Overpriced celebrity chef wok lol only white people will pay 300 for a wok 🤣🤣🤣🤣
The wok has been around for 3000 years, buy a simple one at the Asian grocer and learn to season it on YouTube.
Next you can give this as a valentine present for some sexy wok hay night
https://www.hampdon.com.au/auscrown-high-pressure-wok-burner…If you ever buy the $300 celebratit version you should hang it up on the wall for display.
You gotta Wok Tua and cook on that thing!
If you want a good quality one, then Yosukata is definitely the one to go for
However it wont be that much better than the carbon steel one from the asian grocery. the cheap ones wont have as even distribution of heat and the rivets might not be as good and so forth, but if you season it properly then it will be 85% as good or more. Are you (or your partner) good enough to use that final 15% of the wok's ability? Probably not, since you are asking which wok to buy.
That said, woks can last almost forever so if you want to spend $100 or $130 on a Yosukata then it will last.
Btw, round bottom for gas; flat bottom for induction /electric.
Cheers many thanks for the great feedback !, probably 3/4 of my food intake at home is asian, I think the current one we have was from there,so It gets a good usage from many dishes, gas cooker we have thanks
Asian grocer/supermarket.
