Great price. I paid $1488 around 9 months ago and that was staff price at major retailer. I've done 250+ hours on the unit. House is 100% hardwood floors. Only minor gripe is the rollers need a clean every run, i do have 2 cats and 2 females in the house. To clean the rollers is a million miles easier than my Miele HX1 stick. Overall the mop/cleam/vacuum is 7/10. It's more a daily maintenance mop and vacuum. Certainly does clean well after my kids ahve thrashed the living. Saves me at least 45 mins a day. Happy to answer any questions.
Interesting. How do you find 3rd party accessories? I've got a Dreame D10s Plus and all the first party stuff seems really expensive.. I guess I'm concerned with things like bags that they're not properly sealed, and the quality on filters/other things isn't as good. The 3rd party stuff is way cheaper but I'm hesitant, especially for any potential warranty claims.
If you look on Aliexpress it is even cheaper and they even sell some genuine parts if that's what you are after. I've found the 3rd party stuff works just as well though.
The bulk pack with 38 pieces for $59.98 on amazon worked out way cheaper. One Roller set was $14.50 on aliexpress. I literally got 38 pieces. Reason I know is i spent initially $70ish for way less parts and refunded it before it was sent. Didn't think that bulk pack would be cheaper. It was initially $56.98 9 months ago.
I haven't had an issue. My OEM roller got a bit of slice spinning on something so I've changed that out. I'm on third party dust bags and alternate between a genuine air filter and 3rd party air filter with drying times. Mop pads are a little thinner but seem fine. I heard roborock suck for warranty.
Yep, all these robo vacs are daily maintenance devices only. Don't replace the need for a good manual clean every now and then.
For sure. What we usually do is dust the house, vacuum the areas the robo vac could never reach, and also vacuum up anything thats basically not dust on the floor. That way the robovac shouldn't ever really get clogged or anything as it's really just picking up dust/dirt etc particles more than anything. Still saves us a lot of time ultimately, as we do the prep, then run the vac while we finish off cleaning bathrooms or w/e (have a lip, doesnt enter those spaces, which is kinda fine anyway tbh)

thought Pro Ultra is a higher end model LOLIt was when it first came out but has largely been surpassed.
@Royale with cheese: I have the original Q Revo and very happy with mine. If I were to get it now, I'd either get the original Q Revo or Q Revo S over this and save a little bit of money.

Heard the object avoidance on these aren't as good as their MaxV models with the camera base detection systems.
And a spinning mop is generally better than the vibrating mop in this model.
Should really be this price from the start and not $2700.
QRevo Max V is a better buy imo.

Roborock S8 Max Ultra dustbin is only 270ml, there is no sensor in the vacuum to know if its full so you end up not getting cleaned. as this doesn't even return to dock to refill water as it uses internal water talk unlike mop pads. check reddit for users complaining abt this

I have seen the terrible warranty issue my close friend went with his Dreame. Eventually Dreame did offer him full refund at the end of that drama so in the end it was good, but after that experience, would not recommend Dreame to anyone.
Fair but I guess they can't all be perfect. There will always be some issues with some products I guess. Oh well! Good to hear it got resolved! I've had my dreame for a while now and it's been amazing. Bleh!

If anyone missed out, you can also buy Costco returned working Roborock S8 Pro Ultras but usually pretty much brand new under 2 hours to 60 hours use that sells for around $800-$1.3k. IYKYK don't want too many competitors.
Some people buy them and resell $1.6k plus each on marketplace.
