Hi guys, does anyone with the Citi Prestige credit card know how the 4th Night Free Offer works? Do we just book on Luxury Escapes and get a credit/cashback back to our credit card in 4-6 weeks like the Uber $100 cashback? I haven't received my 4th Night cashback in 2 months.
I rang Citi Customer Service and was told that apparently Citi Prestige Concierge at +61279070814 and their email citibankprestige.com.au is closed permanently? Are people still getting the $700 annual fee waived?
I can confirm it works, I just put CITIPRESTIGE promo code in the booking you'll immediately see the promo details in the booking… maybe you didn't put the promo or didn't stay 4+ nights? For us, we booked about $5k for 7 nights and we got 5k*1/7 so $714 cashback within 48 hrs tops, also got 15-20k points I think for the transaction. Can't say anything about annual fee as I haven't reached my anniversary date yet and don't think we'll get a "retention offer" as such, may get a "renewal bonus" though, be careful on what you ask for… some people have reported from a $350 discount or $100 statement credit. FWIW, I am going to keep it regardless as we usually have a hopping flight and for a couple it works great for PP and $100 uber credit also helps a lot.
Thanks mate, I did use the CITIPRESTIGE promo code but didn't get a cashback/credit back to my Citi account after ~6 weeks. I called Citi customer service and was told the discount is applied to the Luxury Escape pre-booking just before payment is made, and so it isn't a cashback/credit after booking? Pretty bummed about it after the Citi call.

You have to contact luxury escapes. They know the reason why you didn't get it. Citi don't know anything. Citi aren't the one crediting (like a normal cashback)…. it is luxury escapes…. in the form of partial refund…

Credit/Partial refund is usually applied within couple of business days and you can see it pending on your card or on your booking as a partial refund.
PS: Their chat support is pretty good. Give it a shot.
PS2: One I got told what the issue was, I just cancelled existing booking and rebooked and got the 4th night free.
