    Great thanks, beats a trip to Woolworths Coles and can buy a $500 one with this deal, whereas Woolworths Coles in store only has up to $100.

      Unlikely. They will likely to be listed as 8011: Doctors-not elsewhere classified.

      My GP was MCC 8011 and my Dentist was MCC 8021 (also not covered).

      You might get lucky and have a place that isn't classified exactly right and might be listed under 8099, so it's worth a try if you already got the card, just make a note of it for next time.

      This gift card cannot be used at Chemist Warehouse or Priceline as they use a different MCC 5912.

      I don't think so.

      MCCs starting with a 3 mean they are an MCC designated to a specific merchant, rather than a merchant category:

      MCCs 3000 through 3350: Airlines, Air Carriers
      MCCs 3351 through 3500: Car Rental Agencies
      MCCs 3501 through 3999: Lodging: Hotels, Motels, Resorts

      For example:

      • Qantas uses 3012
      • Singapore Airlines uses 3075
      • Hertz uses 3357
      • Disney Resorts uses 3780
      • Hilton International uses 3535
      • Hotel Mercure uses 3579

      MCC 3747 looks like it is assigned to ClubCorp (which has now rebranded to Invited), rather than a merchant category.

      My guess is that Big4 and MyNRMA parks would use MCC 7011 (Lodging: Hotels, Motels, Resorts: not elsewhere classified) at payment terminals where you pay for accommodation, because they are not specifically listed as their own merchant in the Mastercard MCC Quick Reference Booklet for Merchants. If you are wondering what the description is in this booklet for MCC 7011:

      Only those lodging establishments for which a unique MCC has not been designated, including bed and breakfast and other local inns, resorts, cabins, cottages, and hostels.
