most places have this at the same price..
is there a 43" or 32" option?
43 would be awesome as a pc monitor.
50hz
Pretty much the same at other stores.

Anyone know what the processor is like on this? I currently have https://www.tcl.com/au/en/tvs/c725 and it's so slow and unresponsive. I often have to restart it otherwise the whole thing starts lagging.
Or, in general, what kind of processor should I be looking for when looking for new TV to avoid this?
buy an Amazon fire stick or Google TV dongle for $80-90 and it'll be much faster than either of these TVs
Thanks. How does the Google TV dongle differ from the Google TV software on the TCL, and why is it faster?
Significantly faster hardware. TV makers aren’t spending any more than they have to on the hardware in there.
@freefall101: Thanks. I have a Chromecast but it's pretty old; the model number is NC2-6A5-D. I guess that's not the same thing as what you're talking about? Looks pretty similar in size to "Chromecast with Google TV" on Amazon.
Edit: ah, never mind, just saw the comparison on Amazon and it's a separate product without Google TV.
@grain-farmer: That'd be the Chromecast Ultra, since it's older than your TV it's hitting end of life too.
Looking into it, the C725 actually had ok hardware for the time, it might be a matter of running a whole lot of extra bloatware or things the TCL decided to put in. Google go for the whole stripped down, speed approach.
Personally I also found the chromecast with google TV a bit slow and went with an Apple TV as a result. There is a new one out though, the Google TV Streamer. Looks like the doubling the RAM in it with a hardware bump is an improvement, I just hope Google fire whoever names their products sooner rather than later.
+100 to this. You'll get actual updates, bug and security fixes. cheap "smart" tvs are almost all awful
Have you found a place that sells the Google products for $80-90? Amazon has the Firestick at that price, but the Google ones are $150+.
Google Chromecast with google tv is $60, but the $150 one is still cheaper than a new tv

@danwylie: True.
For anyone else interested, the cheapest Google streamer is $147 at Officeworks.
bought the outgoing fire stick for $29 at jb and turned my Panasonic viera plasma into a smart tv.
Bring on the clearing of 2024 model TV deals
Q60D is bottom of the line QLED
no HDMI 2.1, no VRR
blurry motion
https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/samsung/q60d-q60-q60dd-qle…Does this tv have HDMI backside? Or comes with a separate one connect box?
A quick google search will give you a lot of info.
All the ports are on the back, facing the side of the TV to allow more flush mounting
Wish this price is for frame or canvas tv
