You can get almost exactly the same things on aliexpress for like $30.

    • Can you please provide a link?

    • Any recommendations?

    • Link please.

No you can't, not all fans are equal.

This device is in another league.

      • not all fans are equal..

        onlyfans are far better

    • +2

Those Aliexpress ones are pretty weak. The Wolfbox one is powerful.

The Torquetest videos shows that devices that may look similar are NOT similar at all.

    • No you can't. Do your research.

Is this worth the extra over a 150,000 rpm unit like this, Amazon?

    • +3

RPM mean absolutely nothing, it’s the volume and speed of air that matters.

Watch a couple of the reviews on YouTube like Torque Test and Project farm. Many of the Chinese RPM claims are just marketing jargon

      • +1

Just like the cheap Chinese projector lumens.

Dont buy this. Ive have two fail on me.

If you wanna spend $100 on a PC duster the only option is https://amzn.asia/d/faYy6HO

      • +1

Damn - was about to pull the trigger. Thanks!

        • There's like 50 different marketed versions of the same device and they all come out of the same factory in China. All crap.

      • Any reputable battery powered ones?

      • -2

so you purchased this exact model? we know you didn't

        • +2

Just to confirm. Yes the exact same Amazon item.

    • Yes it is.

I have one of these and it’s insane.
I use it was a blower in my garden

  • +3

Got mine last week and the force of these things is insane, never seen such a big cloud of dust shoot out of my PC than when I blew this bad boy in there at full force. Massive step up from my Opolar junk that stopped working after a year.

Bought one a few weeks back and confirm these are excellent. It does what it claims on the box, which cant be said for most of the other cheap alternatives claiming the same power. The build quality gives you the confidence it will last quite a while. If you are determined to buy an electric air duster then I honestly wouldn’t risk buying an Alie Express / Temu one.

Question - apart from say a PC, or audio equipment - what else could I use this for.

For some reason I feel like I need it….

    • +2

Handy for dusting Legos/model toys. Cleaning tight crevasses/hard to clean spots e.g. window tracks, blinds, car interior.

    • +1

I use it to start the charcoal BBQ fire, blow leaves out of my garage, blow water off my freshly oiled outdoor chair.

The Wolfbox blower is one of the few that is more powerful than canned compressed air. At the most powerful setting, it actually has a bit of kickback!

    • I'm looking for one to fix a roborock that has dust built up inside its body and generating a suction error.. common issue apparently so they claim these sorts of blowers can clear out the dust from the internal paths..

      • Yeah, this will do that. I have a deebot n8+, you can use it to blow out dry dust. Wet dust is more difficult.

    • My friend used the Compucleaner posted here recently to get the dust out of his aircon filters which worked very well

  • +1

Got one a few weeks ago and can confirm it's good, however note the battery life on the max speed is a few minutes and at least in my unit the button seems a bit hard to push.
