Buy this game, and spend all your hours playing Gwent ingame.

  • Had it on the wishlist 😄 bought

  • I've got this on the Switch.

  • Re-playing this at the moment. Such a good game! I do have a confession though.. I still don't really know how to play Gwent! lol

LOL I didn't get into Gwent until late in the game's progress, then EVERYTHING STOPPED for me to play gwent and win.

just a GOAT game for me. I will say though, I gave up the first time playing through the slow ish intro area? The world, the characters and the music ended up just sucking me in though. And then skellige, i used to just get the little boat and sail around the Ireland analogue, so beautiful.

They made a lot of changes at some point, to movement, spell casting, a bunch of "quality of life" features. Witcher 3 was far more jank and buggy at launch than people remember.

With the latest gen patch though, it's more gorgeous than ever and mostly sorted. I like that it lets you either mainline quests or put hundreds of hours into the side ones, some of which are just as rich and detailed as main storylines.

Blew my mind the first time I did a side quest and it was a 30-45 minute long, cinematic experience, complete with glowing set pieces/basements/labs/etc.

I finally fired up the DLC's, always had HOS and B&W on the shelf. It is time.

      • Well said mate. HOS and B&W are just fantastic, you will love them. HOS has probably the best story in the entire game, a fascinating exploration of evil, regret and the lust for power. B&W main plot is more stock but has some absolutely stellar new locations and sidequests. Damn i wish I could play this game for the 1st time again.

  • Got the PS5 version 2 weeks ago and still only on level 22 after playing for 35 hours!
