  • The really useful one is the pasta roller, which is the hardest bit before cutting the pasta (which you can just do with a knife easily anyway). The roller is still $99 though =(

  • For anyone wondering "Why attach a pasta maker to a mixer like some Cronenberg monster?",
    this is a holdover from the 1950s, when electric induction motors were really expensive.
    So they created a system where one motor and gearbox could drive multiple appliances.

    Technology Connections should do a video on these.
