From my experience the data lasts for a month (at least for the Australia one) after purchase. You need to activate in the app. Hope that helps :)
But if what I get the 7days plan (can only get those under 7-days for free sine it's less than $4)? Data stopped after 7th day?

I think it only works for the countries/regions where 1GB is $4 or less.
