Not the greatest offer on earth, but the drought is finally over. Does NOT appear to be targeted, ignore the tag. Might be good for new members, I don't know, mod made it for renewal only, might have inside information.

I've been trying to renew my lapsed membership by clicking on "free trial" for ages and hoping an offer would appear.

I have not received any email, or any banner, but when I went to free trial it finally offered me $19 for a year.

Please give it a try and advise in the comments how you go.

    Worked for me. Cancelled my eBay Plus 8 months ago.

    When signing up, was offered the first year for $19.

    Did not receive any targeted comms from eBay.

    This worked for me. I'm this offer came up.
    I was eligible for the $30 voucher when I was cancelling my original ebay plus. But then when it came to renewal time, my card details were out of date an it simply cancelled my membership.
    Getting this for $19 is equivalent to renewing it for $49 and getting a $30 voucher - better actually because I don't have to use a voucher.

    So, I claimed a refund for the $49 membership fee back in November, thinking I'd just get my money back and plus membership will be cancelled. But guess what? They turned around and gave me a refund for $49 and a free year of membership instead, all the way till next November!

    Honestly, that's way better than getting it for $19. Definitely didn’t expect that outcome. 😊Anyone else had something like this happen?

    I got mine for $20 as well and I wasn't lapsed. When I went to renew if you clicked cancel on the autorenew (as I had previous sub) it would give you a $30 voucher for retention. Didn't show up when it was supposed to but used ebay support chat and got it sorted. Well worth $20/year to be honest. Truthfullly with the amount I used to buy on eBay it was well worth $50/year.

    Not worth it. Save your $19 and just make a new account with free 30 day trial if you really want to buy something. Do it monthly if you want to be super tightarsed.

      I wonder if people didn't rush to sign up for this offer if the next deal from eBay would be $9.99, or even lower.
      The old supply and demand, but everyone has their own needs and price point.

    I cancelled my membership a few months ago, I haven't been buying from Ebay in a while, what do you guys buy from there? Most stuff is easier and cheaper to buy on Amazon these days IMO. Ebay was my go to for years and years (1000+ positive feedback over more than 15 years) but I just can never find good value in there anymore..

    Worked for me today - previous membership not renewed ~18 months ago. Just went to "free trial" and was given 2 options, $19 for a year or $4.99 a month.
