New entry level BYD Sealion 6 Essential for $42,990.00 which replaces the Dynamic model ($3k cheaper than the Dynamic model). Delivery will begin in March.

Great value PHEV SUV.

Has the same 18.3kWh Blade lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery as other Sealion 6 models, and like the Dynamic it has total system outputs of 160kW and 300Nm.
Claimed electric-only range is 92km on the NEDC test cycle, while BYD also claims fuel consumption of 1.1L/100km – or 4.8L/100km if the state of charge is below 25 per cent.

      thats definitely more than 3k worth of stuff. Essential is not worth it.

        It's a mistake removing the 360-degree camera and front parking sensors.

      Manual dimming rear view mirror on a $40k+ car in 2025. That's a bit crazy. The heated and ventilated seats are almost worth $3k alone.
