A little chopper does the job well at a very good price.
Both got 4.8 star good review.

Slap chop?
These are so good, still have mine after several years. The string has looked slightly frayed from heavy use but has not snapped yet.
Just needs a thorough drying after washing otherwise will get rust at the metal joints.
On a different note avoid https://www.kmart.com.au/product/multi-grater-and-dicer-4282… - the plastic casing is not strong and will break easily over time.
I find the angle you need for Multi Grater & Dicer is quite awkward. I use it for julienne carrots but have to cut them fairly small and then put them at an angle.
Haven't broken mine……yetwhich one of the two do you have?
The pull chopper https://www.kmart.com.au/product/pull-chopper-42338468/
Would buy another one if my current one ever broke.
If you have chunky capsicum, mushrooms, onions, etc it will catch, but if you chop them up into moderate pieces it will dice them easily and effortlessly. Continue to to dice and it can get smaller enough that onions will start to liquify a little so it gives a few options.
Agreed mine broke first go
Own one and it's pretty good, especially at that price!
Had one and been using it for the past 5 years everyday heavy use and this thing work like a scmick without failing ..sometimes the cord does get stuck but it’s easy fix ..would definitely recommend buying this , it is so good also bought some for the overseas family members..
what do you chop with it?
Overseas family members
I definitely chuckled a bit
which one of the two do you have? One is sold out online and the other one I can get (the one that says pull chopper)
Can't beat pull the Chopper, much better results.
the 1st rule of Ozbargain is we don't talk about Ozbargain
the 2nd rule is.. well ya know price in title and all that
the 3rd rule of Ozbargain is.. buy first, comment / vote later!
We have this one. It is good. We have had it for over 4 years. It is working flawlessly!
What are you chopping in this? It looks like the spaces between the blades are so big you'd only get mushed chunks rather than chopping
I had the same thought - seems like it works well but maybe for finely chopped garlic only?
the blades spin fast so it chops fine like a blender if you keep going for a while. Good for onions in spaghetti sauce or curries. Makes the sauce thick. Or everything in fried rice etc
This is one of my main tools in the kitchen.
What is this like for chopping onions? (especially for bbq).
Looks like big gap in blades.
It gets it really fine, had no issues just don't expect it to cut big sizes
Look when cutting opinions you want to go with the grains so they are less acidic.
Ours cracked just 2 days ago, ordered one , thanks
It's nice to have but afraid as I saw some relatively deeper cuts inside the chopper after using it for a few months. Just wondering as it's made out of plastic and with those large cuts inside, we might be consuming plastic. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Can someone elaborate here? Do the blades hit any plastic?
Just ordered one, before I saw this post! Great find.
These are the absolute best gadget I have in the kitchen.
dicing my onions and garlic are game changers because I can't dice for shit.Out of the two, is one superior to the other?
Thanks OP. 2 in 1 is out of stock online. Ordered the pull chopper.
For a familly of 4 which size to choose? Can you chop hard vegetables such as raw potatos? I like to make a medley of large potato and sweet potato cubes bake in the air fryer and half way through the cook add chopped onion and capsicum.
The large comes with a blender/beater attachment what have you used this successfully? I am interested in wisking cream or mixing cake mixture etc.
Thanks…Is it worth spending a bit more for this one? https://www.kmart.com.au/product/quick-chopper-42844112/
I was trying to order online (also click and collect) via kmart 3 times but failed everytime and got refunded. The moment i tried target, i was able to click and collect within an hour.
https://www.target.com.au/p/2-in-1-chopper-anko/68727482our Target closed years ago, so I am not travelling for 20 minutes or more to the next closest. Guess I can live without it. Will check in store at our local Kmart on Wed if they still have stock by then
damn, can't even order for click and collect now, just says sold out online, but my local store has stock atm
