Is that the raspberry mango you're talking about or did they have a solely mango flavour?

Thanks, I struggled to find full connoisseur icecream range at IGA and completely forgot about them.

The available Häagen-Dazs flavours in Oz is depressing. They take away all the good ones like peanut butter crunch, matcha green tea (was never available here) etc.
I've seen other flavours like matcha green tea at asian grocery stores, but often at much higher prices.
@shift6: How big were the tubs?
I used to get those Meiji branded Japanese matcha ice cream from Asian groceries shops but they are quite costly. $5 - $6 for tiny 200ml.
@FrugalNotStingy: Example pictures/prices here from a store called Yaochii in Sydney today - they have more ice-cream products, but focused on Haagen Dazs. Haagen Dazs have high prices, which is too be expected for obvious reasons given the nature of the product, store location, and import volumes.

I saw Connoisseur 1L peanut butter crunch in IGA near Hyde Park Sydney at $6 today. No matcha Connoisseur 1L in that IGA though …

Agree. Just a look at the usa haagen site and you can see all the stuff we are missing out on sigh
@jskf01: Our market is too small for them to care. Look at why Mövenpick bailed out of Oz and we never get classic brands like Dreyer’s. If we want to eat good ice cream we need to go overseas, sad.

Häagen-Dazs has better ingredients and made like proper ice-cream.
Taste is subjective. I personally think Connoisseur is garbage.
Yeh, Häagen-Dazs doesn’t contain thickeners or preservatives or similar crap.
That’s the main reason I pick Häagen-Dazs and previously Mövenpick over other brands.

For anyone on the north side of Brisbane - these are $5 at Silly Solly Everton Park at the moment. They have the tubs and 6 pack sticks.
Of the available flavours, Salted Caramel is by far the best.

Bulla 2L tubs made from fresh Australian milk (not reconstituted milk) is my go to.
It's better value than Connoisseur for sure, but still has a ton of garbage in terms of the ingredients. Just compare the ingredients list of either with Häagen-Dazs.

Caramel biscuit and cream! Best ice cream flavour ever. It got me into biscoff all those years ago before it became a trend
I happened to try that flavour for the first time last night. I was never into caramel ice cream but I was quite blown away by it. Not just the taste but the texture mixed with the crunchy biscuits. It gave me a happy mood during and after eating it. Wish it was a little less sweet.
Half price still a rip off.
Häagen-Dazs and Ben & Jerry's are the most overrated brands in my opinion. Way too sugary. The Biscoff flavoured stuff as well, while I'm having a gripe.
The flavour I want is unavailable at my local store :(
