50% off Hubbl Glass TV – $697.50 for 55" (Was $1395), $797.50 for 65" (Was $1595) Delivered @ Hubbl

Found this deal simply by googling 'Hubbl Glass'. I know the software is questionable but the hardware is probably unbeatable for the price, especially given it comes with a built-in soundbar equivalent to a few hundred bucks.

Not as cheap as this Harvey Norman deal from a few weeks back but if you are still keen on giving it a try and not paying full price, this is the go. This deal includes free delivery however, as opposed to HN delivery which was an additional cost.

I clicked through the sign-up process and Hubbl are also tossing in 3 free months of their LifeStyle and Flash streaming services. Go figure.

This seems to be a rebranded sky glass wonder if that'd make any difference if Hubbl went bust

Surely we can format the TV and install Android TV or something?

Or just plug in a Google TV stick

  • What’s the screen brightness like on these?

    • Im pretty sure Dolby Vision requires 1000cd/m

comes with a built-in soundbar equivalent to a few hundred bucks.

It has a soundbar, but not one equivalent of a few hundred bucks. Something like this is going to be as good or better, a few hundred bucks you can buy a soundbar with a sub and be very happy.

When TGG has a 55" C655 for $685, unless you really love Hubbl it'd be hard to recommend. Even if you want to buy a non-Hubbl streaming stick the TV loads into the Hubbl landing page by default. That would annoy the hell out of me pretty quickly.

appreciate that, I should have been a bit more specific, tbh I have no idea what a soundbar goes for these days.

For anyone interested, these are the specs on the Hubbl Glass:

      Speaker Configuration: 3 x outwards-firing | 1 x central subwoofer | 2 x upwards-firing
      Speakers: Dolby 3.1.2 output
Audio Format: Dolby Atmos MS12 AC4, Dolby Digital

Hubble was doomed from the start.

  • I almost bought from HN at $691 for the 65 in after trying one instore. I think I'm going to hold out until a see a price with a $5xx (or less) for the 65.

Absolute bargain for a TV with a soundbar built in. Once turned on, id turn wifi off on the tv and exclusivly run this with an Apple TV or Chromecast to skip the Hubble software. OP you forgot to add that there is $100 cashback with Cashrewards at the moment with this TV

  • You couldn’t pay me to have this data harvesting PIS in my home.
