What's with The Cashrewards Site - Is It Just Me?

Hi, I've been a LONGGGG time user of cash rewards, but in recent months I've just noticed their actual website garbage?

I've noticed on a desktop site is just crap, does anyone have any advice on how to fix it:

It displays like this:

I'm Currently on Chrome on a 27" screen at 1440p

I've tried
- Edge browser
- Clearing my cache
- I even put it into a developer mode and tried using like an 'iPhone'.

I can't seem to:
- Search anymore for stores
- See my actual balance, account history etc

Does anyone know what the go is?

    You've seem to lost the header……. here is my view.

      • Great question, no idea where or what could be using it. It would be a little bit of trial and error.

        Could be an add-on removing it. But if you have tried Edge, then might not be an add-on (unless that add-on is also in Chrome + Edge). Have you tried Firefox? Something not Chromium based?

        What about other software on your computer? Anti Virus or similar software is possibly doing it.

    Cashrewards is being enshittified. Funny how ANZ is running it and suddenly it just doesn't work so well. I can't even go through the contact submission because clicking 'submit' doesn't do anything.

      Most of the large company ownership sends site down hill.

      CBA ran that one called Chuddar or something like that and ended up being shut down. Banks try to improve customer engagement by getting into these side businesses (like AGL does with buying Southern Phone) but ends up losing interest because they really don't have the skill set to run the business properly or the return on investment isn't nearly as high as the core banking business (just like NAB pulled out of the US, ANZ out of Asia).

    My first thought is it's a browser extension. An offending extension may be active even while in incognito.

    It's also possible you have disabled javascript, which could be the offender here (but I expect you'd have trouble with more websites than just CR).

    Since apparently this happens to you across browsers but for no one else, perhaps its a network thing (is your network blocking anything, eg a pihole or something?)

    Other troubleshooting methods:
    - try with different devices (if you haven't already)
    - try connecting via a mobile network (hotspot from your phone)
    - Have a friend/family member who has no issues with the site try and use their device on your network

      Have you tried turning it on and off at the wall.

    • Hmmm okay this is PC specific… now to play spot the difference… great!

      • I'm pretty certain it's going to be a browser extension doing something.

        Go into Chrome's extension settings and disable everything (you don't have to delete them, you can just click a toggle to deactivate them).

        If that fails, this is one of those use cases for ChatGPT, it'll walk you through some more ideas to troubleshoot and fix.

        • So i turned all addons off… Relaunched. Same problem. Reinstalled chrome, same problem… I might just wipe my pc at this point lol

          • @Mintee: Open developer tools (Select View > Developer > Developer tools) and click the 'console' tab. Are there any errors?

            • @ihfree: was using 8.8.8.8 flicked to ISPs DNS and same issue

    So I reformatted my entire PC (it was due for it anyway) - Its working haha

      That's definitely one way to re-enable java.

      • Yeah any advice on now how to fix bloody windows 11 network sharing…. i have my win 10 host that shares, 2 laptops can access that share (win 11) but the PC i just formatted says network path not found… grr fix one thing and break another

      The extremes one would go to get Cashrewards looking correctly.

        I would have hopped on my phone, logged in, cashed out, deleted account. Deleted app. Move on
