A discounted price is still available to anyone coming through this offer, and we'll still offer the static IP at $2.20.

IMPORTANT
Our NBN services are CGNAT IP only, we don't have an option for free dynamic public IP addresses.

However, we can offer a static IP for $2.20 per month, normally $5.50

Our only POP is in Melbourne, all traffic will route through Victoria. ACT, NSW, TAS and SA are unlikely to notice any difference, but QLD, WA and NT might notice the difference.

BYO Modem/Router only. We don't provide any hardware with this offer.

Authentication is DHCP/Auto, if your current service uses PPOE (username/password), you'll need to update your router, or reset it.

Our system is prepaid and you'll need to maintain a positive balance, if the account balance drops to minus the service will be suspended.

Billing is daily and deducted from your account balance, as long as you maintain a positive balance the service will remain active.

You can just add small top up amounts every few days if you prefer.

We don't advertise our NBN services publicly, only within our portal to existing customers.

Provisioning is a manual process, signup here and register as a user, then reply to the system emails you receive and request this offer, and we'll walk through the process with you.

There's no contract, you can cancel any time and you'll only be charged for the days the service is active.

If you want to schedule the transfer for a future date, just go through the signup process and let us know in the email you send through, let us know the date.

When the number porting and nbn transfer happens the other provider will normally (not always) be notified by the carriers, however that doesn't always mean they cancel your billing. It's always a good idea to contact them after the transfer has completed so you don't keep getting billed.

  • Just signed up to their service for a friend.
Didn’t have to share any personal info anywhere, paid via payid and got it all sorted within minutes.
Couldn’t ask for more, thanks op.

    • Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated.

  • Switched from the exetel 25/8 plan to this today.
Very easy to switch - just swapped a couple of emails with John, and made sure I could access email on phone while I was disconnected from exetel.
Got an email from exetel saying my service was cancelled (and adding they would charge me for 30 days as expected).
15 minutes later for an email from John saying he could see my router trying to connect with PPPoE (which is what exetel uses), and that I should switch it to Dynamic IP.
Did that, and internet worked again.
I'm in Melb and speed seems the same as Exetel.
    So far so good :)

    • Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated.

  • A little bit of a different (account) process to come on board with SipTalk NBN, but hey the effort was well worth it and John's hands on intervention was 5 Star. So far, a solid service, with really no trade off coming from NSW in quality. Love the PAYG top up feel to the service. It just works for me. For a single user/lower usage household this is an excellent/very affordable product offering that's for sure. YMMV.

      It's like I always say;

      cheap / fast / good .. pick 3

Would like to join something like this before my SL deal ends but that won't be until later this year. Any chance can offer half price x period if I mention ozb? Also what's the best price can do for 50/20 plan?

    • I can't do any better than this offer price, sorry.

      Our 50M pricing is not as good value sadly, here's an offer for ozb;

      50/20 - $60.50 for 3 months then $71.50

  • No nonsense provider and John is great. Hoping their NBN service is as good as the support and joining process.

  • At $49 you can get a low end subscription from flip though their services is quite bad and occasional drop off connections. Also your email and zoom may have problems with no static ip.

  • Any luck for a late joiner for a 6 months deal?

    • +3

There's luck, but not the good kind .. sorry.

  • Who's the wholesale provider? Which BGP?

    • NBN tails, Superloop CVC backhaul, Siptalk IP and transit.

      • Cheers for details

With Superloop currently so I assume ping times would be similar internationally?

        • It's not SL transit, the only SL component of our service is between our network in Melbourne and the customer premises.

          • @siptalk: Ohh I see, might give it a try.

Edit: they peer with GSL Networks, which is cogent and zayo basically.

            • @Dyl: Try it for a day, if it's no good it'll cost you 96c .. but it'll be good. :-)

              • @siptalk: You bill by the day??

                • +1

                  @Dyl: Yes.

                  • @siptalk: Awesome, signed up to try it

                    • @Dyl: Curious to know what the ping is in Sydney/ not Melb

                      • @nahi11: Give it a try I guess if it’s by the day

  • hi @siptalk, I am interested in your product. Can I make the request for the beginning of next month (01/02/2025)? Because that's the end of my bill cycle for the current ISP.
Also I live in Berwick 3806 VIC, is your company covered my internet range? thanks

    • +1

Yep, that's fine. If you're currently on NBN we can supply a service.

      • Yes I am on NBN. Thanks.

      • Can you still maintain this price for 6 months?

        Just saw it today…

        • Sorry no, 3 months at the discounted rate of $29.70/mth is still available until midnight.

          • @siptalk: Ok, fair enough.

Can I delay the activation date though? What's the latest it needs to be active by? 15 March?

            • @movieman: Yep you can delay the connection date, March is fine, but signup needs to be tonight.

  • Oh no missed out. Any chance I can still sign up with this offer?

    • Sorry, the $49.50/mth price is available, and the $2.20/mth static ip, but not the 3 months discounted price.

After some provisioning issues (not due to any fault of Siptalk), John worked over the weekend to keep me updated via email and did everything in his power to get me online today. Service has been flawless (being based in NSW). Great offer OP for those that were able to sign-up in time!

    • Thank you for your patience, and kind words. Much appreciated.

  • John has been very helpful and prompt with my provisioning and questions. Service has been flawless. I am in Sydney and highly recommend Siptalk.
