Do you mind confirming how the price is displayed on the invoice? Is it the total price or doesn't it have the cost minus trade in value?
Looking to salary sacrifice a phone so hoping it just displays the higher amount 😂
Shows as below (I got the 256gb)
Subtotal: $1999
Discount: $-200
Delivery: $0
Estimated tax: $163.55
Total: $1,799Store credit earned
Google one benefit: $179
Store credit Promo: $100Thank you! Did you trade in any phone?
@m3louis: Amazing. Thanks for the info, really appreciate it. Looks like I'm going to bite the bullet and other one
Pixel 7 Pro 512GB was $1200 at JB with $300 bonus trade-in. Now I have to pay even more to "upgrade" with a downgrade in storage??!
Yeah I have a cracked screen 512GB 7 pro, im not taking this deal from the looks
They also Price match. Im hoping the pixel 9 pro 256gb goes back down to $1298 like at officeworks a few weeks ago. with the trade in of my old pixel 7 pro will go down to $498.
does officeworks do trade-ins? would be surpsied if they offered $800 for a Pixel 7 pro like google
Pixel 9 pro at lowest atm at 1,499. Officeworks price match? (though you won't get the 100$ credit from google) - seems like best deal for smaller model since the 300$ off one.
Phone gets decent reviews
How do this get upvoted so much?
P8 Pro was $1000 around this time last year, without trade-in.
Wasn't the P9P $950 a few months ago during black friday? Seems like a terrible deal unless you were after the XL
then I will wait for next black Friday.
Can we do google price match even with unidays discount applied ?
Trade in is never worth it in anything.
You're always better off selling
You can pick up a pixel 7 pro from Kogan for 660. Google are offering 800
And lots of people selling their "good condition" P7P on marketplace for about $500
What's JohnnyP is saying is the trade in literally almost double what you would get for selling your phone.
Good to know. I stand corrected
Lmao not for this, they sell for 500 on fb. JBHifi offered me $270. Sure I could go marketplace route. But rather do google tradein for 800 and price match with a competitor.
It’s abit cheaper with my student beans code. But I think the real deal is waiting to see a competitor who has it on sale then price match. If it gets to anywhere near the Officeworks $1298 for 9pro 256 hazel. I could get that with my trade in for just $498. Waiting to see competitor pricing.
Pixel 8 pro owner here. I've been really disappointed with it except for the camera. Weak wifi, flaky bluetooth, meh battery life, slow fingerprint reader, sticky screen glide, and an operating system that keeps forcing gimmicks down your throat with no option to disable them, other glitches like square button becomes unresponsive.
I won't be getting any more pixel phones. Google, you suck.Sounds like you got a dud, factory reset or return it.
I've literally heard no one say this about recent Pixels. You sure you're not holding an iPhone in your hands?
Yes doesn't sound right. Contact support. Google all the battery saver tips.
The fingerprint scanner worked better on my p8 than on this S24U.
Pixel 7 Pro owner here. Aside from the meh battery life, I have not had any issue with any of the mentioned. But meh battery life because I play games. If I don't play games on a day, I can easily have a tad more than 50% at the end of the day.
The issues you have mentioned are common, although the Pixel 9 Pro series has fixed 90% of them thankfully.
The battery, fingerprint sensor, and connections are all much better.
Had a terrible customer service experience with a faulty Pixel 4, in the past, bought from Google. Has Google Store's service improved?
wonder why so much love for the 7pro? parts? anything useful. Just shows how inflated the prices are!
Probably just a more premium finish with that iPhone type glass and the P6 wasn't anything that special. I upgraded to the 8 but the 7P was almost as good I guess (but prefered the smaller form factor of the P8 and easier for one handed operation).
What's everyone using their google store credit for?
yeah exactly, even their cases are meh
JB hi-fi pre/release deals are better and no expiry on the gift cards
If there is no google store in NSW, how does this trade in work? You ship in your phone and wait for the new one to arrive? ie have a spare burner phone to use in the meantime?
Q: I am planning to get this deal, Is it worth?
I have Pixel 7 Pro 128GB, somehow the storage does not add any additional value so planning to get 128 Gb Pixel pro XL.
Which will cost me 849$ + 100$ Google store credit.
Pixel 7 Pro average around $500 on FB marketplace, so you're essentially getting the XL for $1300. Your decision.
would you think $1300 is ok for the pixel xl with a $100 google credit? $100 to go towards buds maybe?
Trade in value is jokes. People, please just sell your old phone, you'll get more for it and keep working tech in the market.
Pixel 7 Pros sell for like $350-500, I'd be taking the $800 personally
