Suggest Me a Pair of Waterproof/Snow Boots

Headed cold and snowy for a couple of months. Does anyone have a recommendation on a pair of waterproof/snow boots?

I know I could grab some gumboots from kmart for $15, but I'm guessing they won't be all that warm.

Don't mind paying for quality as long as it's good value.

Cheers

  • These used to be the go-to pair of outdoor boots - no idea if the quality still holds up nowadays: https://www.timberland.com.au/shop/mens/footwear/boots

We use Salomon waterproof boots paired with thick socks, no issues so far in the snow.

Aldi snow boots are also quite good, not as comfortable though if you are doing a bit of walking.

  • The range in Australia just isn’t the same as for colder climates. I suggest find a store when you arrive and get something locally.

https://www.sorel.com/ was very popular last time I was in Canada

    • this is what I always see people in at the snow
