Ozito PXC 18V 4.0Ah Compact Battery PPBP-240 - Twin Pack $89 in Store

Don't think I have seen anyone posting about this twin pack. Its slim unlike the regular 4.0Ah and retail cheaper too ($89 vs $129).

I have layman understanding about batteries so looks to me both have same specs except one is lighter than another.

Slim twin pack - https://www.bunnings.com.au/ozito-pxc-18v-4-0ah-compact-batt…
Input: Battery Capacity: Power Consumption: Weight: 18V 4.0Ah Li-ion 72Wh 0.59kg

Regular twin pack - https://www.bunnings.com.au/ozito-pxc-18v-4-0ah-battery-twin…
Input: Battery Capacity: Power Consumption: Weight: 18V 4.0Ah Li-ion 72Wh 0.65kg

Bought one slim twin pack anyway. If anyone can spot the difference (other than weight) please post.

Thanks OP. Looks to be this model:

Wondered if they’d have less power output than the larger format 4.0Ah but both models are listed as 900W.

Might get a second set for the mower.

    • Got the slim pack for my dyson v10

    • I would not trust those specs. When there is such an obvious error in the weights, who knows what else is wrong?

  • Seems unavailable anywhere near me in SEQ

The slim pack might be using 4amp 21700 cells in series and the regular pack would be using 2amp 18650 cells in series/ parallel. Performance should be similar between the two, if they are using a cell like the Molicel P42A, they are rated at 45 amps continuous discharge. Two decent 18650 should be able to hit that mark or higher if they are using something like a Samsung 20s, the biggest difference will be the voltage drop under load and capacity under load.

Dewalt make a pack that use pouch cells light weight and compact.
