How do I troubleshoot it? I’m trying to connect it to my Tesla and it’s not working properly
It only works on submersibles…
Have you gone through all the different pairing modes?
Try plugging it into your Tesla and see if it can even recognise it as a gamepad
it recognises it through bluetooth and picks it up as a controller but all it does is cycle through the menu
Slightly off topic. What is the best controller for XBOX cloud gaming (using Firestick Max as client app)
Xbox/Microsoft has list of recommended controller for Cloud Gaming.
I would assume the official Xbox Controller would probably be the best for their cloud gaming platform.

I use a DualSense controller on my Firestick. Works fine but annoyingly can only pair with one device at a time so need to repair to then do Cloud Gaming on another device such as iPad.

Don't own an Xbox, so don't have any recommendation.
But from a quick Google search, the Brook Wingman XB 3 Converter has been recommended a few times but it's not cheap (more expensive than an actual Official Xbox Controller).
@RichardL: Yeah that's what I found, a bit strange. Assuming you can't have one adapter and connect multiple controllers to it, it wouldn't make sense for many people

Quite the opposite, the controller is pleasantly light so you can game for hours using this thing. I've had zero comfort complaints over my past 2 years of using my SN30 Pro.
Any recommendations for cheapo 3rd party switch controllers? I need something that can get used and abused by the kids.
