This is different to the oxo peeler isnt it? I need to get this Japanese cabbage peeler but the amazon seller seemed odd
The Japanese cabbage peeler is essentially just an oversized peeler really, so I think this would work.
First review has photo of shredded cabbage
Yeah it's a Japanese peeler have added to title
Thanks for the link.
Bought this as a Japanese cabbage shredder/peeler. Worth every cent if it can do that well.
Literally bought one of these just this week because of Andy.
also $10 if you have ebayplus https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/255017903158
Out of stock.
What about this https://amzn.asia/d/j9bntWy
best one I ever USED.! worth every dollar!
what makes it a Japanese peeler vs a peeler?
Small handle?
Having peeled countless of potatoes in my life, a good peeler is worth when the blade is sharp and bendy to go with the curve. Shit peeler from your $2 stores or IKEA is just shit as it cannot bend and go with the curve of the vegies, not to mention uncomfortable grip and dull blade.
Will buy this one and try out to see how it goes.
If I use something with a blade, I would cut myself by accident many, many times. I just use the plasticy one from colesworth
You're far more likely to cut yourself if you're using a dull blade.
@Mike Nolan: Couldn't be any truer. The amount of times I cut myself on a dull peeler are quite a lot as I had to use more force and slippery and something something rhythms with bleeding :(
OOS (but can still be ordered with a 2-4 week delivery window)
Ooh thanks. Gonna give this a shot and see how we go
What you gonna be peeling with this bad boy?
Would prefer those with ceramic blades.
Any particular recommends?
Isn't that a Japanese cabbage peeler?
