    This brand or Gilden?

    I like Gilden as they last forever - has anyone tried both, or can comment on this quality?

      Everyone has strong opinions on this I find, but personally I really rate the Uniqlo Supima Cotton tees - I bought half a dozen in 2020 when covid kicked off, have worn them daily since and they've held their shape, sizing & colour flawlessly, even the black ones.

      In contrast when I bought a pack of the Gildan ones they were absolute trash right out of the bag - most got 2-3 wears tops before I turned them into rags.

      Recently grabbed some of the AS colour ones on a sale and while it's early days they seem almost on par with the Uniqlo cotton ones - quality seems really good and have held up to washing unlike the Gildan crap

        Ive had some amazing Gilden in the past and have been chasing that quality ever since. But the recent bunch had somebloose stitching and colour fade pretty quick.

        (It blows my mind that people pay $80+ for a tshirt - just for the privilege of promoting that companies logo/brand - lots of "keeping up with the Jones' in the world atm imo).
