Seeing the JBL Go deal earlier I was wondering if there was one for the Clip 5. I found on Amazon it is on sale for $66:

However, I went to go to price match at GG and while waiting for an agent searched the commercial site and it is $59 on there:

    • Still 59 for me, I guess different discounts? Still a good deal at 62 IMO.

TGGC prices will vary based on which company you signed with.

        • oh I didn't realise that.

    • same 62

  • Bought one of these last year from AZ and returned it that week due to constant connectivity issues, crackling audio.

Could be isolated but just a heads up.

  • I got one for a trip to Thailand recently, and it was great. It's a solid little speaker for the price, and unlike the comment above, it didn't have any connectivity or audio issues.

I have the all-white one which doesn't appear to be on sale/available at the links above.

  • jbl go

Was worried I’d regret getting the go 4, but been using it all afternoon and now while bbq-ing lamb chops for dinner and I can recommend.

  • I tried one of these myself, thanks to winning one -

Overall, quite loudly with a decent amount of bass for such a small size. Not quite "hi-fi" with a bit of treble inconsistency, but definitely sufficient for casual listening. Battery life is sufficient at just shy of 12 hours at a "room-filling" 50% volume for me. While PlaytimeBoost can push this over 20 hours, it absolutely murders the bass, so I don't recommend that.

  • Had the Clip 4 over 2 years, really like it, use it everyday.
The only downside is, on the 4, the shock absorption rubbers on the back are too thin, over time they started to come off due to friction and glue aging I guess.
Happy to see that the Clip 5 has much larger rubbers.

    • That wasn't an issue for my clip 4, but one of the kids broke the carabiner while playing with it and then the battery life is down to about 2.5 hours now, which isn't fit for purpose anymore for half my use cases, so it is relegated to use for the kids.
