I am amazed that a dedicated page to the whole sale has not popped up on here at all, especially with all the emphasis on the steam sale. I am unsure if i will get in trouble for this but most of what i am posting is referenced from http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=503957. But I found it not specific to Australians and also this would make it a lot easier to generate discussion about the sale rather then have to sign up for a new forum.

The sale started on the 18th December and goes untill the 31st. Games on Demand pricing is regional. Check Xbox.com.au or XBLM for local pricing.

It looks as though all products are getting the 50% off or greater treatment but it is hard to predict, this is just a guideline.

    as I said, it has not been posted as a deal in it-self as a whole, sure it's been mentioned as part of this sale that MW3 has been cheep by Xbox Marketplace standards BUT that is the equivalent of having each game in the steam sale being posted as a separate deal, based on the game and then referencing that it is part of the steam sale. (imagine the amount of new threads there would be clogging up the main pages, especially for people not interested in games).

    This way all the information and feedback comments are in one place and even though most people may feel for example 'Dust: An Elysian Tail' (1200 > 600MSP) is not worth posting, but for that one ozBarginer that has wanted this and is was waiting till after Christmas to buy it would not realize that for today only they can get it for 600 points less. Then to me this post is worth it!

  Bit disappointed about this, as their other game is quite fun in a group.

  Some games are cheaper than advertised… I got Max Payne 3 for 1240 MS Points… Got a fill of 4800 MS Points for $48 off eBay… So Max Payne 3 for a touch over 12 bucks :D

    WOW see this is why we need this thread! I would have got that in an instant if I knew about it.

    The dashboard layout is hard to find what exactly is the daily deal, I bought Tony Hawk HD and needed to manually search for it cause i couldn't find it anywhere and when I did, it come up as 600 points but nowhere did it even mention it was a sale price or 50%, countdown timer etc.

        yea I seen it after specifically looking for it when it was mentioned, unfortunately it did not get my attention as I typically only look at the main page on my iPhone and ozB really needs an iPhone app because its mobile site is unfortunately average.

  also will be interesting but doubtful from what I have managed to find out about the sale, is things like Batman Arkham City DLC will go on sale? it's so ridiculously high priced because I purchased the steelbook version that has only cat-women DLC. All the other DLC is worth about $20 in points and given the game of the year edition can be found on internet sales for PC at $7.50 it's hard to justify not just re-buying the game on PC =/
