Bought from Target in store, the same price, not listed on their site.
Made strawberry ice cream today using my Nitro Ninja to blend everything together. 130g strawberries, 130g cream, 130g milk, 60g sugar, 1/2tsp vanilla extract. No lemon juice.
First time using and turned out ok. A bit soft and quantity was less than 500ml as a liquidTry this:
- replace the sugar and vanilla extract (did you know vanilla flavouring was made from beaver anal secretions?) with frozen bananas
It's not low carb, but surely far healthier than refined sugar (if you don't mind the banana taste in place of vanilla).
Ok will try. Natural sweetness from banana should be good
True vanilla extract is made from vanilla beans, there are no beavers involved.
Even the cheap/fake vanilla flavouring is very unlikely to be from beavers: https://www.smithsonianmag.com/smart-news/does-vanilla-flavo…
"Was":
In the early 20th century, castoreum began appearing in some foods to add a vanilla-raspberry flavor.
And yet…

yeah that was a weird receipe not sure why it tells you to put lemon juice in it.
not going to lie I love this machine!! for 49 bucks holy crap it makes good ice cream all you litually need is just a receipt thats it. the thing does the rest!! even the temp is perfect and the consitancy is creamy right out of the machine. it does a great job at freezing it and mixing it. ice cream is ready in 50 min pretty much if you try to go any longer the mixer stops moving lol.
it makes good ice cream all you litually need is just a receipt thats it
What if I walked out with one instead of walking to the middle of the store to pay? Would it still make good ice cream?
Got a good recipe?
Made cookies and cream today.
Just over half a pack of Oreos, 130g cream, 30g sugar, half tsp Vanilla extract, topped up with milk to 500ml. Blitzed in the Nutri Ninja.Turned out well but still too soft for my liking. But couldn't resist eating so didn't freeze it longer
ok guys for this machine after a bit of experimenting this is what i came up with for a keto chocolate ice cream for this machine
Keto chocolate Ice cream
- 45g of Hersheys cocoa natural unsweetened chocolate powder
- 60g of Xylitol
- 130g of Almond Milk unsweetened (or whole milk if you don’t want to go full keto.)
- 130g of Heavy cream( aka thicken cream)
- 1 tea spoon of Pure Vanilla extract
Be warned though if you don't like a rich chocolate taste you might want to drop that to around 25g of chocolate power :D
also make sure you mix it so the lumps are all gone before puting in the machine.
Mix it all together pop it into the machine for about 40 to 50 min
No need to put sugar?
No sugar required Xylitol is the sugar replacement so it’s a sugar free ice cream
Tried another recipe today. Used Christmas gingerbread house biscuits blended together with 100ml cream and the rest skim milk. The machine kept going past 80mins so I stopped it. Anyway the ice cream was a bit firmer and actually very hard and solid at the bottom. Tasted ok but probably too much biscuits so it was a bit pastey tasting
If you like super dark chocolate then try the Froyo recipe with 100g 70% Lindt, cocoa powder and blitz in a blender. I used vanilla Yoplait 0% fat and no sugar yoghurt with full cream milk
Yoplait 0% fat and no sugar yoghurt with full cream milk
Might as well put sweetened full-fat yoghurt instead — that's what these 3 together amount to. I'd use heavy cream and allulose or erythritol instead.
Trying to create a more guilt free version - this machine is dangerous. Have made ice cream every day since buying it!!!!
Lol
