    In store only.

      Based on your location

      • Well it does say out of stock online for me too, and I wouldn't think that it'd matter if their Warehouse was in a different state.

Does it say available for online purchase for you?

        • Yes. I even added it to a bag and went to checkout and it wanted to charge me $16 for delivery to the Central Coast.

Kmart ships from normal stores a lot of the time. Perhaps the in stock/out of stock status is based on how far away the nearest store with stock is?

          • -1

@lbft: Seems odd they wouldn't just have all of their stock available to everyone. Unless they knew for a fact that they'd sell it so they decided to try and cut shopping costs with everyone using last pass and such.

    • As found in other Kmart Deals - availability is based on your location.
Shows available to order online for me as shows in stock at nearest stores.

      • That makes sense. Cheers

Ordered a $10 Anko Powerboard Tower. Still shows available online in Brisbane.
Others interstate can't order & some orders there were cancelled.
My order took days to be confirmed. Being sent from store 5k away

Tempting, considering it came with its own USB cables, but turned off by the 5w max wireless charge and 15w max cable charge.

Tempting, considering it came with its own USB cables

Negative in my books as it's less modular. If those cables stop working or gets damaged accidentally then those can't be replaced.

      • The alternative would be no cables with that price.

I completely agree with that ideology for higher end items, but for a budget power pack, I'd be perfectly happy with cables that appear to be set-up in a manner that makes the end product tidy.

I've got a power bank in my overnight bag along with one of each USB cable and those cables are rather messy.

If both cables stop working, you've still got 1 USB-A port, 1 USB-C port, plus wireless charging…

Interesting free delivery to me with one pass.

    • Me too

Better off with an aliexpress special.

  • Out of stock online for me in Victoria and no stock in store that I can find.

Bought one yesterday in store. Price tag showed $29, scanned through at $19. It comes with adapters you can swap out for different countries power outlets also. Mainly using it to power my portable monitor, but quite a nice power bank for this price.

    • hi! if possible, could you share how heavy the power bank feels?

      • It's a bit chunky, but I'd say its a similar weight to my s24 ultra (with case on)

    • Are you using a portable monitor connected to a phone instead of a tablet?

      • +1

I use it for multiple things. Sometimes I connect a firestick to it for streaming videos. I also use my mobile phone with samsung dex. I also have an Active3 tablet which I hook up to it too. Aliexpress Zsus monitor with 144hz. PS5 also gets 120Hz on certain games. Can't power a ps5 off this though, so bad example haha.

        • Amazing! That's what I'm after, I reckon. I just want an OLED screen to watch movies at night. I had a Lenovo tablet I got from Aldi for $100 early in 2023, my first, that I passed on to my offspring, and realised I only used it to consume media. And that the IPS screen is less than satisfying in the dark of night. I've been searching for OLED tablets, but it seems Lenovo gave up on them, so I'm only left with the Samsung S's and a couple of Huawei's released this year, all for $800+. I have a firestick lying around (4K Max), so was wondering wherher I could use it with a portable monitor instead, and thus break away from the cycle of programmed obsolescence of the mobile devices.

Is yours touchscreen? Does the firestick take touchscreen input?

          • +1

@wisdomtooth: I looked into OLED screens and decided against it. They look great but I cant justify the price bump. My phone screen is good enough though :)

I've got the firestick 4K max as well. The biggest flaw is its micro USB port. I fortunately still hoarded my OTG adapter. I use that and a usb hub to power the device as well as plug in some wireless dongles for a controller, keyboard and mouse.

I opted for the higher refresh rate monitor so missed out on touchscreen. My wife has the 60hz monitor with touch features, but shes only used it with her laptop and samsung dex.

Usually for touch screen features you have to have the extra usb input, so youd also have to use some form of usb adapter as well. The mouse doesnt work for normal browsing on the firestick, but it works in certain apps.

@Tyoson: I didn't get OLED screens when they came out on Samsung phones; they looked greenish and weird to me. Till I got my current phone, a Xiaomi POCO M5s, that is OLED, and realised that for dark movies (mostly all SciFi are) it was a better experience watching it on my phone that on the tablet. Unfortunately I missed Clear's deals on Lenovo's Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2022 for <$300 April last year, Lenovo seems to have given up on OLED entirely, and they run for A$480, which is ridiculous for a 3 year old android tablet that was <A$300 less than a year ago. Huawei released a couple of OLED tablets this year (MagicPad 2 and GT Pro), both for A$800+, so maybe Lenovo returns to OLED, we'll see.

FWIW, Daiso Japan sells 10Ah powerbanks for ¥1000 (~$10). Buy it there, if on your way there.

    Thanks
Managed to score one moments ago for delivery.

Slow charge at 15w but at $19, it’ll do for secondary usage.

      To the neg-ger:

Keep those negs coming my way ;)

      lol

  • I bought one but I cant get the wireless charging t work. Can someone help please?

  • $29 @ Target

  • Bought one from Highpoint today.

    Points to note:

    It is a bit chunky.

Another drawback I see is that it can ONLY be charged up using the adaptor plug. And you need to take it out whenever you use it flat or when you carry it with you (as it protrudes out). I can see myself losing the adaptor plug and not able to charge the power bank again

  • Also available at Target , same price.
