I thought they are similar quality until I bought a set of Xiaomi. There is no comparison.
There are hundreds if not thousands of clones after Xiaomi set was released. But nothing beats the original I bought two sets. Quality is exceptional
I've just received the generic and Xiaomi brands from AliExpress. Would recommend the Xiaomi brand and not bother with the generic. Bought the non-electric Xiaomi brand from Wideal Global Store (Certified brands & genuine items) listed here. Currently US$15.50 ex GST.

i have set of xiaomi and generic, find both similar but the generic are also S2 steel same as xiaomi. with generic people need to consider steel type and also i’d one is chrome plated which isn’t good as chrome is slippery or a matt finish which grips better.
I have this exact one, its real garbage compared to xiaomi , protech (jaycar) , and a few other variaents. This one is crappy light aluminum shaft and bad plastic case. Some of the bits are from other sets too

Saw these types of set were such an OB favourite so I picked one up without thinking about brand at the time. Handy for lite tasks but always thought quality was junk. Just realised I've picked up a non-xiaomi version…
