Best Spots to Watch Melbourne Skyline and NYE Fireworks without The Crowds?

Hey everyone, I’m trying to find a good spot to see the Melbourne skyline and the NYE fireworks at midnight, but I’d love to avoid the crowded areas like the CBD and close to the CBD suburbs.

Does anyone know of quieter places, even if they’re a bit further out, where I can still get a nice view of the skyline and fireworks? Ideally, somewhere more relaxed and away from the chaos.

I didn't plan anything this year and last couple years. I feel like I need to do something about it. Being an immigrant family we don't have relatives to visit.

Any suggestion would be very much appreciated. Thanks for your help!

Pretty much covers each one of the requirements mentioned in the OP title specially 'without the crowds' part!

    • I would love to take my whole family on this thing next year but with the recent events in the airline industry, my family said no lol

        little

You spelt illegal wrong. Sounds like a good way to avoid crowds. Good choice.

        • Is it actually illegal? I see everyone does it every freaking year

If I tell you about the place with a good view and little amount of people then it will cease to become that.

This is the ( 'effluencers' )formula that also killed every pristine secluded spot on earth. It's hard to find a corner of the wilderness without dunny paper dangling from a tree.
Some secrets are meant to be kept.
Our footprints are costing the earth in more ways than one.

    • This happened to our secluded good view. Started becoming ruined by people pulling up in cars leaving their headlights on.
      Enjoy it while it lasts!
