  Nice specs for the price, especially for an aluminium 15"… I just wish they'd include a number pad on the keyboard for 15"+ models, instead of having stupidly big speakers on the sides taking up space… and of course a fingerprint reader would be good, although you can usually just use the IR camera for logging in etc.

    See I specifically look for 15-16in laptops without a numpad. Rocking a Yoga Pro 9i atm it's the perfect laptop except for numpad.

  Decent but still a premium for zen 3 chip

  I managed to get the lenovo yoga pro gen 9 ryzen ai 365 for 1.2k new on the outlet which is a much better deal

      Could not find any such laptop/deal so its not particularly helpful.

      The model I did find with the above name has 400 nits OLED, no SD card reader, (still) no fingerprint reader and was over $2k.

        Yep these deals occasionally come up on the outlet, just have to be patient really. Not really for the casual buyer as you sort of need to snipe them.

        Also it has face recognition for log in which is more convenient than fingerprint imo
