    • +3

Light strip can be dimmed / turned off. Tap icon to left of USB ports.
      (See User Manual)

      • thanks for that! I threw out the packaging and manual upon exiting the store

        • +1

Print was so small. That was about the only thing worthwhile reading. A handy feature.

    • +1

I can't cope with things that have random, pointless lights. ESPECIALLY white or blue. Just make them orange or red. Far less distracting. I had to tape over this white strip!

      • as @INFIDEL pointed out above, there is a function to turn off/dim the light via the touch sensor

  • Any branches with known stock left in South West Sydney?

Checked our Merrylands but they say they can't find them.

"We're really sorry; we weren't able to source the stock for your order. We've already cancelled your order so we can issue your refund as quickly as possible." Very noice

  • Order cancelled too ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

  • Still have no order status after two days.

    • Was same for me. Ordered for Onepass delivery 4pm 30/12.

Status only changed 2 hr ago from order received to "fully shipped". Kmart email received - expect 6/1.
Aust Post notification its on its way from store 5k away.

Did C&C order at same time. Collected 2d ago from local store.

It's clearance. Likely depends on stock available in stores near you. Still stock in Brisbane.

Heymix got 300 fire comments while Anko got 300 votes. No wonder why they can rebrand and charge 10-20 dollars more lol

    • If only you thought first…

      Totally different devices.
This has a low powered USB output (25W max) - not powering high power devices like laptops like the other, housed in a much larger than normal case!
That significantly lowers any overheating risks

The lower price & power board addition make this an attractive offer. Hence the upvotes!

They look the same. And lots of Kmart products are made in China.
If low power is safe, then it applies to the heymax brand too.
The low power heymax charger is surely cheaper.

        • Thats a very different model, as already discussed in this Deal.
Dearer (nearly 4x price), HIgher powered @67w vs 25W, surge protected, etc

The mere mention of "Heymix" here brings on many overheating warnings, no matter if its relevant to that model.

Building high output chargers in as small enclosures as possible always is a thermal risk. (I've designed a few.) So that's not an issue here.

@INFIDEL: If you think Anko can find good but cheap and safe parts for manufacturing, Heymix can do the same. That's my main point.

            • @bcYield: Whats that got to do with it?
Where are those 300 comments of fire for the Heymix model?

              • -1

@INFIDEL: You search Heymix on Amazon and ask Amazon why?

                • @bcYield: Pointless - you are discussing a very different, dearer & higher powered device!

                  • -1

@INFIDEL: My first comment refers to the brands in general, doesn't it?

                    • @bcYield: Specs are very different to this. So a pointless argument๐Ÿ˜œ

Using this product for 2 days - no overheating @25w

                      • -1

                        @INFIDEL: First Argument for 2025๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

                        • @bcYield: What a looser!!
                          Obviously that's all you wanted.
                          Very purile. Grow up!
