    First time going to the MCG tomorrow, and am a bit unsure about which gate to enter through - we want to head to the Olympic stand to get some shade. Are all gates open or do we need to head through specific ones? The ticket doesn't stipulate any gate. Thanks.

      To access the Olympic Stand at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), you should enter through Gate 3. Gate 3 is located near the Olympic Stand and provides convenient access to this section of the stadium.

      If you're arriving by car and parking via Entrance A off Brunton Avenue, you can use lifts 9, 10, or 11 to reach Level 2, which leads to the Olympic Stand.

      For public transport users, exiting at Jolimont Station and walking through Yarra Park towards the MCG will lead you to Gate 3.

      Alternatively, if arriving via tram from Wellington Parade, you can walk through the park towards the MCG and enter at Gate 3.
