I was able to price beat this at Bunnings through their online chat, bought it for $515.95 and picked up at my local bunnings.
Bunnings just dropped their price to the same $573.28

They changed the price at my store Port Macquarie, while I was waiting on chat to price match just to deny me the price.
They should try and make customer happy. Iv had good & poor experience with Bunnings

Following up. I’ve already bought the Dewalt but may return it and get this one if it’s significantly better than the Dewalt to justify the 50% more expensive price.
I nearly bought the Dewalt but did not because there were more than a few reports of failures around the two year mark.

Bunnings have a twin pack of genuine 5ah BL Makita Batteries for $236 … best I've seen in a long long time for these, yeah, they come up at $99 each here … but there's never any stock when I follow the link shortly after it shows in my alerts!

Hey wondering if anyone could help me in my situation.
I bought this pack for $648 2-3 weeks ago and never opened the box. would i be able to be refunded the price difference just to save myself the $100~ ? Is there a way i can do this without having to bring the whole thing out to store and go about this? Otherwise i guess i could find an afternoon to go about it this way.

Oh, that's even easier as you can go to any Bunnings. I do think you are going to have to go in, they have a bit of red tape/processes.
