  • Cheaper on eBay. Purchased yesterday for $380.

  • I can’t find the $5 eBay code?

    • Ebay plus user?

    Not even worth $399.

    I have a Braun 9 pro, series 7 and 5. Panasonic 5 Blade,

The Best i ever had and it lasted 15 years or more was a Braun 8595.

Also the Panasonic 3 Blade. Never replaced a foil in 5 years. So Impressed, i got another one Yesterday for $79 from Shaver Shop

    https://www.shavershop.com.au/panasonic/3-blade-wet--and-dry…

    • Nice, I might give the Panasonic a shot also. Quite disappointed with the 9 pro + for the price.

    • Ditto with 8595 - mine over 15 years old don’t think new model will have same life but foil replacement timings vary

    • How would the Panasonic 3 blade be with sensitive skin? Also what is the difference between the one you have linked and this one: https://www.shavershop.com.au/panasonic/3-blade-wet--and-dry…
Mentions Japanese blades in the more expensive one and not in the cheaper… Which one did you use that you recommend?

      • ES-ST29 was the originsl 3 blade i have. No longer availble.

I just got the cheaper 3 blade. So far, seems ok. Crack 'n' sack all good.

        • I guess that means it should be fine for sensitive face skin 🤔
I was leaning towards paying more but I'm guessing the Japanese blades might just last longer..
How did you compare the 5 blades with the 3?

I've been using for about a year following this deal.
I have found that it's very gentle, so if you've got sensitive skin then it's good. Having said that, I don't actually think that it gives as good a shave as much cheaper shavers which is disappointing considering that it's supposed to be premium.
I clean it manually with the brush most of the time also to limit the amount of the cleaning fluid I have to buy.

I bought one of these for $235 on crazysales, and it doesn't do fk all to be honest. I still have to finish with a razer.
I thought my shaving days were over with what this claims, but it just isn't. The cleaner tank is literally 35% isopropyl alcohol to water mix, so dont get scsmmed buying the branded stuff.
If you want a good foil razer, get a whahl finale or similar

    • You need the one empty refill at least to make your own with CCR3 refills + ispropyl.

  • Ymmv but I’ve got this and think it’s great
Upgraded from a well used series 7
As someone said above, it’s gentle so good for sensitive skin
Is a much quicker shave than what I experienced with series 7.
Would say it works best if you’re shaving every few days, can’t imagine it works well if you’ve let your facial hair grow longer than a few days. After each shave I rinse mine with water and then usually clean with the cleaning station.
Not ATL from memory but close, they had $50 redemption offer earlier which helped

  • Old version Braun 7 better than this.

  • I bought the series 9 that died under warranty and was replaced by a 9 Pro, haven't found anything better and it's vastly better than my series 5 was (the older head shape)

I unfortunately have to shave every day and have sensitive skin so this was the perfect solution for me. I don't have the cleaning base, just clean it with a brush and use shaver guard spray on a Friday so it sits all weekend

  • Was tempted to get this during Black Friday but got the Panasonic shaver instead for a closer shave after watching reviews

    • Which Panasonic mate?

      • the 5 blade one. there are many variations but they are almost the same. Called arc 5 in the US. Higher end is the 6 blade arc 6 but i don't need it

        • Thank you. I bought it today and very impressed with the close shave.

          • @freq flyer: no worries. i did some research and the conclusion is that the panasonic shaver is best for a close shave, and braun is best for sensitive skin :D

  • Mine arrived today best thing I've ever used to shave my head. Close enough to a single edge with out the dangers. Very happy with it!
