pretty sure this is all time low. previously it was posted for $99.

I had some spam email and they had this for a bit more. searched google and found it for $45.

for those who want to know it has BT5.0 and USB-C charging. and a "Clear voice button/mode" for podcasts etc. as far as I can see I searched Yamaha's PDF and NO it does not stereo pair.

it's a small speaker so don't expect huge sound but similar price to a Wonderboom when it was on clearance.

    too bad it cannot connect with yamaha receiver as wireless rear-speakers or even as a stereo sound by item self.

    Looks good mate thanks for doing the homework too regarding pairing and usb type - which looks to be the hot question now everytime a Bluetooth speaker deal pops up now.

      yeah just a few minutes of copy paste. I have learned the most important things "WHAT bluetooth version is it?!" and "USB-C??".

    So its not as good on features as the Nokia SP-102 in the recent deal. They were $12 shipped. Used bluetooth 5.1. And would stereo pair.

    Hope these are a lot better quality sound to make up for being 4x the price and having poorer features.

      yeah the Yamaha PDF doesn't say anything about stereo or pair.

      I can't remember if it was a 5.0 feature or maybe 5.1. some samsung/android phones support connecting to two bluetooth speakers at once. but not sure if stereo was possible.

        I have no idea whether stereo pairing requires better than Bluetooth 5.0. I'm going by the fact it says right there in the OP's description that it won't stereo pair.

          btw what I’m talking about is not stereo pairing on the speakers. it’s a feature of the phone.

          if you have a BT 5.0/.1/.2 (can’t remember which version sorry) phone with up to date androidOS, you can play the audio to two BT devices at the same time (normally just one).

          so it could be two pairs of headphones to watch the same movie on one screen or one pair of headphones and one speaker, or two different speakers. pretty cool feature. but not sure if you can set two speakers to separate left and right, it might send left+right to both speakers.

    the speaker is so cheap it seems like bad value at only 25% off. but some people are just too busy to mess with a USB-C cable and you can just chuck it on this dock.

    Does it have an integrated microphone like the Nokia SP-102 so you could listen to music from your phone in the next room, and answer the phone if a call came in?

      just scrolled through PDF manual and no mic. judging by the buttons on top I think this is true, usually there will be a answer call button if it has a mic.

      instead they have a clear voice button to make movie voices easier to hear just like on soundbars.
